The game was invented ahead of his time.
there's a weakness in one aspect of the design.
it needs an arbiter.
the arbiter could favor one player and cheat.
or the arbiter could make a mistake and ruin the game.
but if it was invented with today's technology. eliminate the arbiter ,
instead have a program or something.
he could design a board that reads for the players the pieces played against each other
that pieces may have electronic signature that is readable by a scanner
and a light could tell whose side wins in the attack.
Mr Pasola also design the brilliant game most chess players in manila are still playing now.
oil strike.
the game is a strategy game.
and when he applied for a patent,
they denied it saying that the game is too complicated.
this is an example of crab mentality.
even our own patent office do not believe in our own inventors.
i think he later sold it to foreign toy companies
and the latter patented the game excluding his name from the patent.
powerchess, my own invention, the patent is still pending.
after 11 years, our patent office would not grant me a patent.
maybe because i refuse to payoff examiner's another P12,000.00 (standard payoff if you do not have your own lawyer)
which I already paid the examiner, P11,000 the first time. I refused to pay again.
this is what I get.
yes, our patent officer is as corrupt as any other government offices we have.
kung dayaon ka sa arbiter, pilde ka..
