    Discpline!

Change the attitudes of all pinoys, point them in the right direction.

If somehow we can do that, expect our country to progress.

Guys, discipline and education, as you've suggested, are 1 of the best ideas. Let me just add a focus on budgeting to those ideas, since I've heard and seen most of the people don't know how to budget their money. They just spend without saving. What's worse, hilig pa gyud ta mangutang. What's even worse, we don't even know how to handle financial debts. Bisag gamay ra ni nga problem, but ing ani ang attitude sa most of our people, then ang result kay cumulative, it's a big problem that we're not noticing it.

As of proper education sad, hope we could somehow change policies of some schools kay klaro kaayo naay mga "corruption". Since the youth learn most of their lessons in school, then most probably, the school is 1 of the sources of corruption.

GOOD GOVERNANCE is the key towards economic development ? really ?

i was thinking good governance is the key to peacful government while inventions and high-tech products for exports are the keys towards economic development ..

correct me if im wrong but i dont think a good president with good governance can ECONOMICALLy develop a country ... intelligent inventors and scientist are the key when it comes to economy .

think about this ... you cant export good governance to earn money from other countries but you can export inventions and discoveries to earn more money from other countries ..

it is useless to be good in governing when there is no income from people to govern .

but if ur talking governing peace towards country then good governing is neccesary .

just my opinion ... WE NEED MORE INTELLIGENT PEOPLE than blaming one GOOD or BAD PRESIDENT

stop talking about president , start thinking MORE INTELLIGENT PEOPLE .

she/he is only one (president) if we hope she can make a better life than we should think she expected more from us bcoz we are more than million . lets not leave her/his alone . we voted him/her so lets help him/her who ever is the president .. lets not make ourself as judges but lets put ourselves as part of a working government .

Kurt Cobain: I believe good leaders ( president or politicians ) has a big rule to achieve this goal. How could you expect good quality of education when people of this country can't even read and write due to lack of budget on education. Government failed to support our fellow pinoy inventor/scientist. Their inventions bought to other countries and reproduce for public use. Kinsa may naka benefit ani ron? Do you know how many nurses and doctors sent abroad just to cater their personal needs because of lack of upportunity here in our country?

U have a point: " intelligent inventors and scientist are the key when it comes to economy" . But we need the government support to achieve this goal.

Wa lagi morals, wa ta pag asa. The lack of morality and public accountability is BEST EXEMPLIFIED by no less than Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
