Thread: RELIGION

that is why i always assert this maxim that: "religion is flawed because man itself is flawed"

meaning..a religion instituted by man either RC/iglesia/ADD..etc..is not really an IDEAL religion with respect to what was being founded by God. It is up to ourselves as members of these respective instutions who can attain ideal beliefs/practices that will conform to the religious concept established by God....

and here we are engaging in futiledebates on what is really the true religion

Our conversation somehow getting nowhere already. What Im only ask is that "Which Religion is True?" Then, you answered me with a text from bible (Jn. 13:35) "a blameless religion is LOVE". I go over that particular text in the bible, it never mentioned the love is blameless religion. If we defined "love" in any sources, you and I can't find the exact word or words to be proved and it does satisfy your claims that "love" is a blameless religion.

I tell you brother, Im not an atheist but only a candid Christian.
I said that with the assumption that you were a Christian.

If you read my posts above I told you that based on the Scriptures and what I see today prophetic evidence testifies that the Bible, being used by those who profess the Christian faith is God's inspired message to mankind.
Without me being explicit about this earlier, that is my reply ergo what do you think I imply is the "true religion"?

Many profess the same faith that you and I do yet are disobedient to the "one another" commands.

Learn to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Learn to love God with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul, with this hang the law and the prophets. This is a text from somewhere in Luke, and with this what do you conclude is "blameless" in our faith?

    AMEN!

hehehe. Maybe what should be discussed here are points of views of the different religion, their approach to faith and spirituality and not how their religion can kick the other religions buttocks.

this reminds me of a SouthPark episode when Jesus and Santa had a fist fight.

And that's it? Who's potterboy, bro? Why should anything he says have any value to your argument? Both of you never quoted from the early Christian writers. Your witness is to yourself. Sorry, bro. You got to do better than that. Indeed, there was a visible church before the Bible was ever completed. Ever read the Acts? Obviously, there was already the visible church or else who could be present at the Council of Jerusalem. St. Paul never had authority to decide on doctrinal matters - only the Church Magisterium has that.

Certainly. You would never have a Bible. In fact, you have to call Christ a liar because He never built the Church that He promised would prevail even on the gates of Hell. The same Church that will teach even the powers and principalities of heaven (Ephesians 3:10).

Are you really reading the Bible or are you reading what part of the Bible you like? Did you miss 1 Timothy 3:15 or do you just privately interpret it differently (i.e., not as how early Christians understood those words)? Ephesians 2:19-20? Matthew 18:15-18? Acts 16:4? Ephesians 5:25-27? Galatians 1:8 coupled with Romans 10:14-15?

Lisud na bay kay di gyud malikayan moingon ko nga this is how we approach spirituality in Roman Catholicism dayun naa dayun mosupak.

Ang ako punto di man ko mamugos kung wa moy religion. Kung moingon ko nga outside the church no salvation, ngano ma affected man ka nga in the first place you are not bound by it because you do not believe it.

So to each his own. If you can say that you can be saved in any other way, then will and good, find that salvation. But asa far as we are concerned we really dont know how would you do it. Just like being marooned on an island ba. Diskarte ra nimo unsaon.

I noticed nga naay uban diri grabe ang kalagot sa katoliko. Perhaps siguro kay ang Catholic is one establishment nga lisud gyud tumpagon mao nang frustrating kaayo noh?

Anyway we continue to reach out for our brothers nga naay mga misinterpretation sa Catholicism. Kung makasabot lang unta unsa gyud ang RCC. . .
