I read before P300M lang budget sa OFWs (correct me if im wrong though) compare to over $1B dole out. Tax money should be prioritize to deserving people.

She wouldnt be on a list considering she went through illegal means but i read sources that she is considered as OFW, but as Mad said shes a Filipino deserving assistance from our government. The problem right now is that the government had just presented MJ's recruiter for a case extended since 2010, for the sole purpose maybe to extend her life? lol; they could have presented that recruiter long ago and maybe just maybe MJ will walk out alive. Not much can be done now considering the case is close; shes already doom. The government sat on the case for 5 years.

I think people should understand the frustrations of the Veloso family cause they know better on what truly happened.

yeah.. really true., I agree,. also, what I'm trying to emphasize is that there are certain limitations/boundaries hangtod kanus-a nimo gmiton ang word nga pagpangayo ug "tabang" bisan pa ug Filipino citizen ka.. of course, whatever the story is the gov't should help, pero dili lng pud unta palabi ug sulti ug bati as if wla gyuy gibuhat ang gov't ky bcin mobalik cla sa basic history nga dili rba gyud na documented c MJ, etc.. (technical na nuon, pero, who knows...mapul-an ang mga tawo sa pagtabang ky bsan pagpasalamat wla sa ilhang huna2 ug kasing2...).. everyone is helping though..

unsa man gyud natabang sa government ? paki explain. Outrage gani sila for lack of support by the govt and nag credit grab pa gyud na sila naka postpone sa iyang sentence.

coming from them, these are the people they are thankful of.
“I thank all those who introduced us to Connie Regalado, chairperson of Migrante. My daughter’s case was swept under the rug for a long time.

We also thank the priests, teachers, the youth and the migrant workers who supported my daughter. If not for your help, I would’ve lost my daughter,”

..libog mn unsaon pag-explain unsa natabang sa gov't sir ky dili mna nato ma confirm kung tinuod ba gyud.. but I guess this is already OT..
What I'm trying to explain is everybody is helping,.. call it lack of support, credit grabbing, whatever.. but be thankful..
pero dili nang pinili lng ang pagpasalamat. Okay ramn cguro dili mgpasalamat sa gov't BUT NOT to insult, put-down the gov't;s effort.. We just need to work/help as 1 samot na nga critical pa gihpon ang sitwasyon ni MJ.. set aside negativities for now.

We all know how our system works, pero sa ingani nga sitwasyon, kinahanglan na ug pampagana ba pra mopadayun pa ug tabang bisan uwahi na gamy..

This is a case of late action from our government, 2011 pa nangayo ug investigation ang Indonesia sa Pilipinas that time pwede pa unta ma revise ang kaso, pero 2015 na nilihok ang goberno nato, dha na cla nanglihok nga convicted ug patyonon na.

Dli man sa ting election na convict c Veloso gud mao wala tabangi. Karon nalang nila tabangan. Pero murag uwahi na ang tanan. Na delay ra iyang execution 50/50 na i review ug balik iyang kaso ug hatagan na daun ug sakto na depensa.

very true. as far as i know only the head of the state can invoke this MLAT which is the main reason why veloso's execution was rescheduled. given the required parameters and requirements the president may invoke this in which indonesia must adhere as they signed the agreement long ago. i think the veloso family should just shut up and work with the government so that they get to spend more time with MJ. execution is imminent, when will it be is the real question. until the investigation of the recruiters is done MJ should still be alive and the family should be grateful of that.

Still that question lingers, whats to be thankful or grateful of ? is there a reason to be thankful ? As Meriam summarize it as "government failure on her case" and "last minute remedies". Like I said reasonable ilang action. If you were in there shoes will you be grateful on the government response ? Btw her case won't be sensationalize if it weren't for those Australians who were put to death despite Australia's plea and even threat to pull out foreign aid to Indonesia.

And who are we to criticize them ? The Veloso family got first hand knowledge on whats truly happened. I dont think it was an insult against the government, that more like a natural emotional response through years of neglect. Whats more they are exposing shameless act of the DFA.

Personally netizens were bashing their actions cause thinking that MJ's life was truly spare not knowing that its just a postponement of her sentence. And I doubt the Indonesian government will mock their own justice system, overruling her death sentence.

Just for the record wa ko nag mention ug president ug vice president... I said government.
