hehehe... good luck bro... one last try bro... reset ang proc
for short tear down...
Well, try rechecking your connection again bro... actually, this took me a while to figure out before..i really thought my pc was busted but i didn't give up coz ang HDD nagdagan r mn japn padng windows, gani lng, parehas sa imoha na no signal ang Monitor...
Try bringing your CPU to the office...use another monitor.. If it boots up, then like i said before...loose or daot ang connection sa imo Monitor towards the VideoCard (not the power cord towards the CPU but the other wire)... I tried loosening or adjusting it up before...dha pa xa ni function balik...suwayi lng bro...Patience jd ni, murag mga more than 10x ko ng.boot ani para lng nakahibaw na sakto jd akong theory...Sure ko, muo jd na akong experience before.
i had the same problem back then bro with an intel 945gag mobo no post black screen monitor lit orange
mobo hdd lite green and red ok...i had to email intel support what they suggested is to reset and reflash bios
and it worked upto now its still working ok...u have to go to the manufacturers site get info how to do it and also check for bios upgrade
IMPORTANT: This BIOS recovery DOES NOT require any display. Once you are in BIOS recovery mode, there will be no display as the diskette is being read. As long as there is an indication of power running on the motherboard like LED light (green light) and spinning fan you can still perform the BIOS recovery.
In the unlikely event that a BIOS update is interrupted it is possible the BIOS may be left in an unusable state. The recovery process requires the chassis to be opened to move the onboard BIOS Confituration Jumper.
flashing / clearing of the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery for at least and hour, then putting it back, before performing the BIOS recovery
Before anything!..... specs please, including power supply.
@v-2loca: bai. again let me highlight what you said that you use and INTEL mobo. So your problem and solution doesn't necessarily mean we have the same underlying cause. Preha ra na sa joke bai nga ang magti-ayon nagsige suka ug lipong2x sa buntag. Aron maka save sila, only the wife went to the doctor. When she returned she simply said with a smile: "Honey, buntis tang duha!"
@kazki: like i said earlier i already did that. tried different wires. the ONLY last connection left to test was the vidcard to the mobo (PCIE slot) and since the vidcard works on another pc as well as the monitor, using the EXACT SAME wires. Then it is without a doubt something below it.
@dubioz: AMD64 3200+, MSI NEO4-F MOBO, 2x1GB Kingston Ram, Dynamo PSU 550W, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS, Geforce 7600GT PCIE, 320GB WD HDD SATA, Sony DVDRW.
Take note that I simplified the setup by removing all components except for the video, 1GB CPU and mobo. Still no dice.
Your VC works fine. Your LCD works fine. Your board seems to work fine.
Have you tried cleaning up the PCIE slot of your board? Check it out. Something might have insulated one of its contact.
Any beeps heard during POST?
