This is a luxury we cannot afford.
Hindi nman natin kailangan to eh. Ok naman yung mga bapor natin. Bat idugtong pa. Gastos lang yan. Tapos madugtong, anong gawin mo? Eh wala namang economic activity kasi in the first place bagsak economiya natin. The project has to be viable.
Pwede siguro gawin natin yan 2050.
Eh tapos nasa quiapo na ako in less than one hour.Originally Posted by brian_d
Parangfeeling mo, nasa New York ka.
^I agree. why not an MRT. I think with the traffic situation that the city is enduring right now. We definitely need an alternative way to commute..such as what is mentioned.
with regards to budget i guess its already been answered.
and bout that traffic down south i guess its already been answered too.
which is cheaper a bridge or an MRT? and who is going to pay for the construction?
which is more of help that MRT or the bridge?
do sim city involve money? am sorry but i havent played that game.
do you know how many people traveling to bohol everyday? and how many hours are wasted? just by traveling alone? what do u think are the factors why "bagsak ang economiya natin"? please try to review ur economics 1
please always keep in mind that this is not a city project this is a regional project.
the karsada sa barangay, medicines and all those puny thing that ur thinking which is suppose to be the responsibility of the municipality mayors and congressmen since they wer given a budget from the provincial and national government.
com'n! dont think of a project that would only benefit the small number of people or shall i say dont be selfish.

The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it.
i really support this project . this will bring very positive things to these islands' tourism, telecommunications , as well as strengthen the relationship between these neighboring islands. it is really an ambitious project , i agree . it will cost a lot , true and there are other , as always , more pressing matters . but the cost of buliding this bridge will be nothing compared to the long term investments this bridge ( connecting the visayan islands ) will bring back to these islands. look at its long term benefits.
Patuli kog usob kung mahitabo na!!! Sos dako-dako gyud ning makurakot ani da...
if these bridges connecting these provinces exist, for sure, only the rich and the wealthy could afford to cross it because of the huge amount of fuel needed to travel these distances. whereas if we had better roads, better traffic schemes, bigger hospitals, better schools, it's not only the poor who could benefit from it but the rich as well because they get the kind of manpower that they would need coz these workers won't be late coz they won't have to slow down everytime they pass by a mud puddle, they won't be asking for advance pay coz the government can help them out in their medical needs and of course, they're a lot more reliable because they've got the knowledge that they would need to perform each task.
It's not a question of budget. Or JICA or German government, i-apil na nato ang taga Mars or taga Pluto pa ang mo fund. The point is UTANG na, and therefore kinahanglan nga bayran.
Kung mangutang man lang gani, make sure that the money will go to priority issues/concerns which are more pressing. Like roads, better govt. hospitals, and school buildings. And once again, kung mangambisyon man lang ta, might as well MRT na lang. Mas daghan pang problema ma solbad ana nga solusyon.
