Base sa statement sa TS, mura'g busy that time. I don't mind kung mag wait 10 mins, busy or not. But like I said, it's just me.
Still, I wouldn't do what the TS did. I just feel na dili right tong sa last part...

My experiences had me being ACKNOWLEDGED as ready to order, then being made to wait for an unreasonable time, even though the place was near-empty...and in all occasions, I approached the cashier/manager and told them they had lousy service.......another thing, raising one's hand in a restaurant is a universal sign of one being ready to order, and waiters/waitresess/managers are instructed to watch out for it.....
For the customers also , make sure that you are being attended to by calling their attention . Raising a hand is not enough because unsya point if gatalikod sila ?

If an establishment's waiters are not instructed to look for, and at, the RAISED hand as a signal that the customer is ready to order or needs something, then the owners shouldn't be in the business of ala carte but should instead open a cafeteria/carinderia where pay before eating is the rule....
When customers are also ready to order , they should make sure to have their needs attended if it takes for them to approach the staff , mo sitsit , pito or just call the wait staff in a courteous manner .
Thats what I do thats why I dont encounter these minor flaws . That way , I get my order quick and cooked in time .
We have to understand that we are not dining in a place called a FIVE STAR ESTABLISHMENT where maski usahay gani carinderia ra na , we tend to feel like we are VIP's na naay indivudal na wait staff .
I am a chef , I have a 15 yeard under my belt of par excellence hospitality experience and that sums to very very high standards in terms of food quality and service . Sa akong side , I understand them on the level of their training , kamo pod unta . Learn from each other rather than insulting people because you think mga VIP mo .

wait... expecting someone to actually DO their job properly is now equivalent to wanting to be a VIP?
lol
Heck gusto man kaha ma atimanon dayon ? Why did you guys wait for 10 minutes before deciding to act on something ? I didnt say wanting ma VIP , feeling ma VIP lang .
Now that is lol .
The point is , all of the CUSTOMERS are actually VIPS because kita ang ga hatag ug business nila , ga provide ug income sa owner to create employment but if the case na wala kay buhaton kay you are expecting too much form them , then that is PA IMPORTANTE . Its a simple as wala sila ni duol nimo if kakita man gani sila nanawag mo , then approach the manager . basin ga tuo pod ka ang manager mo approach ninyo . Dili baya psychic ang manager makahibalo inip namo sa pag huwat unless magpahibalo mo .

But what you guys did was to wait for 10 minutes right ? Like I said given na ang pagka tanga sa wait staff who gave you guys the menu copy kay wala man follow up gi himo but on your side , kung wala mo ni barog gyud after 10 minutes , kung ni hulat mo ug 10 hours didto unya walay ni duol ninyo ?
Isnt it surprising what communication can do ? Pero mahug kamo na ang retarded ana kay you guys where expecting for the dock to approach the boat .
Pilay pusta mo balik pa mo didto one of these days ? Kay either mo kaon or mo inom . Pero if you will do the same over and over , aw walang kahumanang drama gyud na . Nothing is wrong if you air out your issues but as what I keep on repeating here in the forums , it wont do any good . Pero if you talk to the manager how lazy , how discriminating etc the wait staff are , that would suffice and could have fixed the problem , basin mahatagan pa mo ug compensation , who knows , libreng sisig pa ka puhon .
but my friend did. he raised his hands, looking around, even had an eye contact with the waitress. the waitress just stared at him and then went outside instead to ask the waitress outside about their waiting list.
Nobody knows the exact details , you can still elaborate more what happened but based on these facts , amang lage ang amigo nimo if buta ang waitress .
