Exodus12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
Moses told the Pharaoh that the last plague was his to choose, and he choose to do what the Egyptians had done to the Hebrew people before (kill all the Hebrew male first born). If the Pharaoh had choose rather to bless his Hebrew SLAVES, then Egypt would have been blessed.

this event happened after God hardened Pharaoah's heart. toink!!! Pharoah was about to release the slaves but God intervened and hardened his heart, so what happened to them...see verse above. brutal!!! God hardened his heart so he could kill the firsborn son, ana na? tsk tsk....mind boggling eh?
What we have in Exodus is this: God says at the beginning that he will harden Pharaoh's heart (Exodus 4:21, 7:4-5). The hardening of Pharaoh's heart is then described in several different ways:

    Pharaoh's heart became hard (Exodus 7:13, 23)
Pharaoh hardened his heart (Exodus 8:15, 32)
    God hardened Pharaoh's heart (Exodus 9:7, 10:20)
However, when the Bible says Pharaoh hardens his heart, it also says that this happened "just as the Lord had said" (Exodus 8:15).

    In particular, consider Exodus 9:34-10:2.

When Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had stopped, he sinned again: He and his officials hardened their hearts. So Pharaoh's heart was hard and he would not let the Israelites go, just as the LORD had said through Moses.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous signs of mine among them that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the LORD."
In other words, Pharaoh's hardening his heart is considered to be the same as God hardening Pharaoh's heart. I take this to mean that Pharaoh did the actual hardening, as we see it - he decided on his own to not listen to God and let the Israelites go. But God knew in advance what Pharaoh would do in any given situation, and deliberately placed Pharaoh in this situation (i.e. God decided that Pharaoh would be born at the time and place that he was and thus placed him in this position of power). (See Exodus 9:13-16.) Thus God brought about the situation, namely that Moses would encounter a pharaoh whose heart was hardened against God, though Pharaoh hardened his heart of his own free will.
Well by your line of thinking since evil men committed evil acts claiming to be Christians, that this is your reasoning to reject Christianity and that the Christians of today are all evil and should abandon their religious faith, as you choose to do.

Atheist by the name of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot committed over 70 million murders (in 60 years) of their own population in their advancement of their own Communist dogma. So Atheist and Communist are all evil and should abandon their personal beliefs.

Automobiles pollute and kill people so everyone should hate and totally abandon all automobile usage.

Green house gas are now considered harmful and since cow farts and people's exhaled breath produce most of the CO2 gases. Cows and people are evil, so kill all cows and everyone stop breathing. Of course the plants need CO2 gas to grow and produce oxygen and the topsoil layer that covers all land masses on this planet absorb CO2 gasses. We should abolish and destroy all life forms that exhale CO2.

Use a better logic and argument to justify your Atheistic belief.

Abortion clinics, providers and workers often live in fear of Christian activists. Only recently captured, Eric Rudolph has been charged with a deadly bombing at the Olympics and with two other blasts in Atlanta at abortion clinics. Although the choice of the Olympics as a target may sound strange, it must be remembered that many far-right Christians regard anything which smacks of internationalism - the UN, the IMF, and the Olympics - as tools of Satan. The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms regards the other recent attempted bombings and attempted arson attacks at Alabama abortion clinics to represent a heightened threat to life and property.

Government officials in both Canada and the United States have issued warnings to abortion doctors to take extra precautions. Anti-abortion extremists in Britain have warned the public that there "will be casualties" in the coming war, and that they did not intend to "turn the other cheek." As the anti-abortion rhetoric has increased over the years, so has the anti-abortion violence - property is destroyed, people are killed, and women are denied access to medical care.

When Muslim extremists place a bomb at a bus station in Israel, it is justifiably regarded as an act committed by "Muslim Terrorists." When are we going to wake up and recognize that similar acts here are being committed by "Christian Terrorists?"
Unfortunately, that label won't be used by anyone prominent any time soon. Conservative Christian groups are very quick to jump all over anyone who even so much as hints that Christians, as Christians, are responsible for any act of violence. It's one massive attempt at clinical denial, and the media and government rarely disturbs the fantasy.

Two recent examples show how dangerous such a disturbance can be. In one case the FBI and the Justice Department suggested that Eric Rudolph might be receiving aid or even a hiding place from any one of a number of anti-abortion groups in America. The reaction to this suggestion was swift and brutal as it was labeled "irresponsible, biased, and scurrilous."

Anti-abortion activists are quick to take offense at the idea that their movement might have anything whatsoever to do with helping an accused murderer - of course, this is the same movement which has produced "hit lists" of abortion doctors. We have also seen the widespread use of violent, war-like language on the part of major figures in the anti-abortion movement, and anyone who thinks that such rhetoric cannot have a negative impact is themselves in serious denial.

In another example, Katie Couric of the Today Show questioned whether or not the murder of Matthew Shepard might be linked with the increasingly hostile displays of intolerance on the part of various right-wing Christian groups like Focus on the Family. The reaction from members of such organizations was quick and massive - so massive, in fact, that NBC had to ask Focus on the Family to cease and desist with the phone calls. James Dobson, president of the organization, has also asked for an official apology from NBC.

Apparently, he is free to accuse homosexuals of whatever he wants - linking them to crime and drug use, if that is his whim - but any suggestion that his rhetoric encourages a climate of hate and violence is to be considered libelous. Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center considers it "one of the most insidious and bigoted attacks against Christians ever seen" for someone to suggest that Christians bear any responsibility for the Matthew Shepard's death. Somehow, I doubt he takes the suggestion that Christians are exhibiting any bigotry towards homosexuality very seriously.

Christianity & Abortion in America: Violence, Murder, Fear
How many christians did it? Please count...

How many killed an unborn child?

all the allegation are somewhat allegation... idiotas... brad not all christians accept homosexuality... some churches compromise to avoid descrimination... well tell you what we don't.

How many people kill other people because they don't believe in God. They believe in themselves...

+++ oh you excluded the verses showing God's part of hardening the poor guy's heart.

    - Exodus 4:21 The LORD said to Moses, "When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

verse 4:12 came first before the showdown of powers haha. In other words dude, the hardening of Pharaoh's heart was God's Will. God can soften anyone's heart, he is God right?

    - Exodus 7:3 But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and though I multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt,

Bear this in mind everything happened because of God's WILL.

The problem is some people are too stupid to be able to make that distinction. Yes evil people use religion as an excuse to commit evil acts, but that does not make the religions evil. Few religions in the world preach religion, it is the misinterpretations of foolish or evil followers that are the problem. To say it is only Christianity that makes them do evel acts, is delusional hog dribble.
This kind of excuse only works for spineless people and are done by people who are heavily brainwashed by their church or pastor.

If your criteria of what constitute a true christian is perfection then I guess nobody fits in that standard. History has proven that Christians are capable of murder, stealing, adultery and so on.

Foolish excuses like the one I quoted above hardly finds acceptance among intelligent people.

so the reason you have given above is enough reason to bomb abortion clinics? people like you is what inspires other christians to take other people's life.

talking about being delusional, here comes the Martian story. nobody can live the Christian life, your bible tells you to love your enemy, to feed the hungry,to visit orphans,to pray w/o ceasing?
