but one question... if you were to start your own business, what would be your reason for doing so?

- to accumulate thousand or million of pesoses as profit
- for the love of supply & demand while crunching some numbers in the process, btw i'm dealing with basic commodities

How important is it to you?

- cause i'm helping the costumers through very competitive price in retail manner while maintaining the quality of the product
- long term outlook is to play it engrossly but still factoring-in the high satisfaction of every customers with high volume turn around

What made them go through the hardships and obstacles of being in business?

IMHO..... I believe the 1st 3 yrs in every biz model is very crucial, i called it testing the water. The keyword to defy the former is to be resilient and innovative.

Some folks would like to taste the water and maintaining a generic solution or simply pan out other solutions. The result is kaboommmmmmm it did not work cause of regional constrain. Sometimes too sluggish to implement some innovative idea which tend to stagnate the biz.

What made them stick to the fight when tomorrow seemed so bleak and hopeless? I think it must have been their reasons... What do you think?

Every entrepreneur have different outlook, some gauge by monthly, quarterly and annually. I do believe that if you have a biz you need to time & gauge through then you can study what are the limiting factors to your biz. Henceforth you can time when will be the down-turn & up-turn of your biz. With this effect you can start down sizing your man power, cost cutting your operational expense & etc when the biz model start gearing down south. On the other hand, you'll synergize your team once the company gearing up north and by the time the up-turn starting. All you can think of is productivity, quality & profit.

Very interesting replies... Now how far would you go to succeed in your business? Now i've seen people even go as far as sacrificying their own morality, which i would never do, just for the money. I've had my shares of facing the obstacles just to succeed in life, but i would like to know to side of the story.

There is always an honest and noble way to be rich so that the next generation can inherit the wealth and peace of mind. The same with business.
