Dilemma: Shifting from Nursing in CDU to AB Linguistics and Literature in USC

If you dislike CDU's form of teaching (attitudes of CI's) then transfer to another school. USJR CI's are different from CDU coz they are nice to students and you can easily talk to them without screaming at you. I had a similar experience at CDU, though na turn off na lang jd ko when Madam Ramas herself and I had a conversation which really disappointed me. But if you really don't like Nursing there are other courses that can help you. Just don't limit yourself to your title when you graduate.

Yes maka turn off jud ang Nursing sa CDU tungod sa CI. Nice unta ang CDU pero the way they handle the students, in my opinion, can make them crack under pressure. I did not want to be a nurse, it was only supposed to be my pre-med. I wanted to be a doctor. Pero I don't think now is the time for me to go to medical field usa. So I think transferring to another nursing school is not an option for me right now.

kung linguistic ka pwdi ka mag work as teacher, hotels and companies nga needed ana most of it kay BPO...

ang nursing sad kay after ka mo grad mao gihapon wa kay work don't hope na lng nga maka larga ka ug una kay daghan sad man ang naka una nmo nga nag huwat sad... so if mo proceed ka which is mao nay nahitabo rn, ug nahitabo nako sauna, from nursing to med den wa nako nahuman sad...

try open ur mind to another course nga interested ka...

kung mag linguistic ka unsa man major nga language and minor imong kuhaon?

I think mag double major ko ug Linguistics and Literature (kay gi split na sa USC ang previous program). For my languages I think I'm taking Japanese, Korean, French, or maybe Spanish. There's a lot I'd love to learn. Pero the jobs are what keep me worried and fickle.

I don't want to teach. I don't want to go BPO. I want to work in an office or something.

Pero maybe after I take Linguistics I'll go back to to the field of Medicine. I'll probably take 2 more years for my sciences. I don't know. My life is a mess.

hahahaha bata pa jd ka ts... in due time u can accept those things nga dili ka ganahan... better talk to ur guidance councilor about it.. kay sa USC hatagan man kag exam nila kung mag doubt ka sa imong course para ma suggesan ka nila kung unsa na bagay nga course nmo...

If imong tumong kay premed mas maypa mag pharmacy ka or PT at least kung maka decide ka nga di ka mag med kay naay opportunity sa gawas. Mas dako sad ug sweldo ang pharmacist kaysa nurse pero lisod lang kay ang ilang exam. If ganahn ka mu work ug office ok sad mag psych ka at least mas dali makakita ug office job ang psych kaysa linguistics.

you could help a lot of kids in that course. you could be a teacher, a college professor.
