    or maybe wala magkacontact ang imo procie ug heatsink mao mo auto-shutdown.
    it happens to me,
    my remedy was putting aluminum material para naa lang sila contacts to each other,make sure also to put thermal paste para dili kaayo moinit.
    solve na akoa problem after...

    hope you try!!!

    @azland,

    have u checked the heatsink from the newly installed proc? sometimes, this is our common mistakes, to not properly glued the heatsink into the proc. Try some gluing with "Silicon paste" that helps to absorb heat from you proc. When Proc is overheated, drastically, it gonna restart.

    so try to check your heatsink & place it with what we called "Silicon Paste" on it.

    i'm pretty sure this gonna solve your problem if supposing your mem & mobo are in good condition.

    one thing lang ako suggest... since inamaw ni ako but effective... try to put 5pesos coin inserted between your procie and heatsink... before doing it, ba-id sa imo 5pesos nga mohamis ang surface... it's very effective...

    try to put aluminum foil bro, mga at least 4 folds para macontact jud ang imo procie and heatsink mao na ako gigamit sa una effective jud kaayo...

    Hinumdumi lang bro na everytime imu i-remove ang heatsink, apply-i ug thermal paste balik. Let the heatsink flatten the thermal paste arun sure jhud na walay air spaces in between para magcontact ang duha. Mau man sad ni ang nahitabu naku.

    Check your bios version if it is the one that supports your new processor. According to the asus site, your board has limitations when using 800Mhz. It will only work if your ram is DDR400 and on the latest bios verion which is 1009.004. Please check the link below regarding this. Hope this helps.
