It's official, Kobe Bryant is the NBA's MVP for the 2007-08 season. Bryant became the fourth Laker to win the award after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and Shaquille O'Neal.

I'm placing my bet on Danny Ainge, but it's a toss-up between him and Mitch Kupchak. IMO.

Kobe Bryant deserved it more than Chris Paul. Take note that Bryant virtually single handedly carried the Lakers before Pau Gasol came in and Lamar Odom stepped up his game. Paul on the other hand had all the better support he needs the entire season.
