To all those who participated and supported the event:
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! We will be having the 2nd leg before the end of summer. It will again be announced here, we are just finalizing car classification so that all the races will be as fair and competitive as possible.
The next event will definitely be much better....it will be a 2 day event...meaning to say start of race proper will be on Saturday, and final runs will be on Sunday to guarantee at least 2 runs per class for every registered class.
Guys if you have any comments, critics, suggestions we are very open to listen...you can just post it here, we really want to improve the quality of the whole show!!!
kinsay nangapil sa stock? naa pics?
suggestion:
jpn, separate the full interior cars from the no interior cars. heavy cars with same model cant compete with lightened cars.
let them have a class of their own. peace sir.
There will be a revamp in car classification on the next race. Definitely it will be much more fair to all. For stock class full interior will be required! SuperStock will only be allowed 2 mods, more that that you will be put to modified. Performance cars such as Evos, Sti's, MR2 turbos, Celica GT4, and similar cars will not be allowed to run stock class.
What will be considered mods?
1. Semi-slick tires
2. Coil over suspension
3. Lightening (meaning to say extremely lightened with no interior sidings, pasenger seats etc..
4. Major engine power enhancement ( to be decided by race director depending on the Mods )
Here is an example:
Honda Hatchback (full interior) with B16 engine and semislick tires. We will consider this to be in superstock as there are only 2 mods which are 1.) the B16 engine & 2.) Semi Slick tires.
- if he will add coil over suspension, then that will be considered 3 mods na, so he will have to join modified class na....an to make it sulit sa mod class, he may have to also remove the interior.
If you want to know where your car will be classified, please give me a desciption and I will let you know.
remember the reclassification is not yet a final descision and we are here to listen to your suggestions!!
jpn, how about honda SiR with coil over, b18 type R engine. Street tires. What class do i belong?
Since you have 2 "mods" - B18 engine and coil over then you will be classified as SuperStock....if you add slicks, then that will be already 3 "mods" so you will have to join modified...and if in modified na...might as well lighten your car.....
For performance cars such as Evos, STIs, Turbo MR2s, automatically superstock plus 1 mod only is allowed.....Example: Evo 5 with slicks...can join Superstock, but EVO 5 with slicks and coilover will have to join modified already.
this is only my opinion.... i think tires should not be considered as mod... unless its full slicks (no thread at all or tires that are for track use only.... in short not street legal)... pero if ur using DOT tires (semi-slicks like yokohama advan neona, bridgestone re540s, 55s, dunlop dz01 or dzo2, etc..) these are performance street legal tires but design with more grip. it should not be considered as mods. in fact there are a lot of cars running on the streets using these types of tires cause they add safety and improve handling and response sa car.
mga idol ug mga bossing,
since ive already join autocross races to both organizers (Kartzone and Shago Racing)... naa lang ko observations and suggestions to help improve and promote fair competition sa kani na sport.
As we all know this sport is growing and we want to promote this sport more.... dili ta ganahan na ma wala ang gana sa uban. and since its new, daghan pa kaayo ug adjustment in terms of rules and guidelines.
in these races that i have joined mao ni akong na obserbahan...
1. For me... semi-slicks should not be considered as a modification as long as its DOT approved meaning street legal. ang e considered as modification kadtong dili street legal (kadto full slicks) and is not DOT approved.
2. Coil-over, after market intakes (Cold air intake), after market headers & exhaust, removal of any interior parts (seats, carpets, dashboard etc,) should not run under stock category.
3. maayo unta inig buhi sa mga category in order from stock to modified to open then special class. lisod kaayo mag laktaw laktaw ang mo dagan and maglibog pud ang mga racers when cla mo dagan.
4. no last minute entry. dili na pwede mo apil sa race once nag sugod na ang category ug dagan.
5. modified with full interiors and modified na wala na gyud sulod should run on different class. (say modified street class and modified race class)
6. I know pwede ni...pero i dont agree on 1 car and lots of drivers... meaning mag puli-puli ang different drivers sa usa ka awto. (this will kill the sport gyud) for example... DGL, ACR, NCR or any team will just set-up a super fast car and puli puli lang different drivers and kadto uban or independent drivers will surely dili mo apil kay wala namam cla pag-asa maka daug. Boring na kaayo ang sport kay balik balik ra ug dahan same car. mas nindot gyud nang race ur own car not your friends car.
7. Race should start on time. pirmi ni mahitabo even on drag race. he he he
8. For me... the more categories the better to even the playing field. like for example.... evo's and subaru should run only on awd and open class. dili na cla pwede mo dagan modified.... or maybe naa pud modified AWD, modified FF, or modified FR or RR. para leveled gyud ang competition. Performance cars such as GT-R, EVO or STI/WRX should not be classified under superstock. kaluoy pud sa contra na civic with mild upgrades mo compete with these cars. cgurado ihaw gyud. he he he
Then again... ako lang ni na opinion.
