    To Gwynhuever, Thanks.....

people just have to admit it is an exciting read. Even if you have to dispute the Gnostic views being presented, I wished more people would appreciate it for the way it was written - such as the very intriguing ending plot of The Teacher, his identity and the way he manipulates Opus Dei....

Also, many think the narrative structure is flawed, I disagree - they must have said that because daghan flashback..... that is called delaying exposition or temporal displacement, it would have been very boring if the story was written chronologically. In other words Sophie Neveau and Sauniere would have been boring characters if there was nothing left to discover about them had the story been written a hundred per cent in order. Gladly it wasn't....

So sige, huwat ta..... how many days nalang 16 days! More likely SM will ban it........ so kita kits lang ta tanan ayala

    hehehehe

Mao ba? No haven't read it yet but I plan to

One thing I forgot to mention was Bezu Fache, an overly zealous captain but very honest as well, I laughed at the part when Collet had to alibi that Langdon and Neveau's broadcast as fugitives was a sting and one of Fache's "creative methods." hehehe.... I also liked Bishop Aringarosa, - he was duped by the Teacher but he really embodied fidelic integrity that a clergyman should have...

Sige, I'll try to get my hands on Angels & Demons. I expect there are also twists and turns and puzzles there as Dan Brown has mentioned...

i think no one should take this book seriously. it's a very nice story and anyway the spine of the book says "fiction". i don't see why catholics/christians are so worried. that's just me though, no offense to any devout catholics/christians.

    ** i'm a catholic by the way

Baligya na bitaw sa National, well at least sa SM akong nakit-an ang illustrated version hehehe For DVC and Angels and Demons they both have it na.....

When I saw the inverted glass pyramid the "chalice" picture in the book, turns out I imagined it right hehehehe

The trailer got me excited, do you know the trailer where Sauniere is jogging in a dark aisle at the Louvre and the paintings are just staring at the character - or rather, at the camera? and then BANG! there's a gunshot? The "paintings staring down at Sauniere" was exactly the way it was described in the book.....

I hope Ron Howard didn't take many liberties from what was written - but here's one I already know of:

In the book Sophie deciphers the anagram SO DARK THE CON OF MAN by herself and proudly brags it to Langdon as "she wasn't about to miss the third anagram" (the first 2 being Oh Draconian Devil! and Oh Lame Saint!) in the movie she uses Langdon's help to break "So Dark the Con of Man", but she breaks it more easily than in the book; based on the clip I've seen

I'm just so excited na.... weeeeeeeeee!
