if the "full of faith" are so sure and steady about their "faith" then there'll be no commotion, afterall, a little stir in the ocean won't be felt everywhere (or won't be felt at all).

but with all these commotion (and counter-attacks to a work of fiction) going around, the "full of faith" signifies that maybe everything is shaky and unsure in their "faith".

which means, dan brown is not the problem (because, for the millionth time he is just a fiction writer) but the "full of faith" because maybe they are not full of faith!
Your logic is wayward. You mean to say that if one resist of something, he is therefore shaky? Cmon where did you get that? We have resistance in our lives, can you therefore say its shaky? I resist drugs, am I shaky? I dont like to eat tilapia, does my tastebuds shaky? I hate noise. odes it mean my love for silence is shaky? I hate genocide, doesnt mean I just resist my urge to kill?

Since you oppose Catholicism, does it mean your being anti-Catholic is shaky too?
    huh?

    anti-catholicism?
let us try to read, take time to process the information intelligently and understand what is being written and not overreact, hyperventilate and blabber without understanding...

notice the statement beginning with "IF" - to someone who knows, that means it's a hypothetical statement...

so, relax! you are not under attack because, "WHO ARE YOU by the way?"

notice the phrase in quotation marks: "full of faith"? - it's a general description for people who pretend to be really faithfull but in reality are just hypocrites...

notice the phrase said "full of faith" and not "dawn runner"? - it's because (for the umpteenth time) it's not about you... unless "the shoe fits!"

then, if you feel that you got hit by that hypothetical and general description, then, don't get all "overly hysterical" defending yourself just because the description fits you perfectly... it's not my fault you are that...

once again the lessons for the day are:

    hypothetical (look this up)
if the shoe fits (wear it)
work of fiction (which is a lot different than works of research and facts, etc)
use of controversy to sell fictional books (therefore not to be taken seriously)
    understand before overreacting

oh, and importantly, reply not about you (so, just relax, don't hypervetilate and process the info)...

also thanks for the part that starts with "your logic is wayward"... you are funny without meaning to (that's all i can get from your paragraph - there's nothing else there)...

i know you are furious because "evil people" are trying to "bring down" your "faith" but if you can, try to

    have a nice day!
Its a waste of time to deal with someone who pretend to be intelligent.

Once again. I am infallible. Mr. Biddle never makes mistakes.
It has already been exposed, talked about, and even debated, for so many many times already. In fact the late Pontiff included such a tragic event in the Church's history in his mea culpa, wherein he asked for forgiveness for the past mistakes of the church.

Papal infallibility doesn't mean that the Pope does not make mistakes. He does makes mistakes in his daily living and that's the reason why even he himself has a confessor. A Filipino priest was once a papal confessor. But when the Pope makes decisions regarding Church Dogma, teachings, etc.. then he is infallible because his decision does not come from his own making and convenience but rather from careful discernment, guidance and prayers from the Holy Spirit, consultations with other Cardinals and bishops during a synod perhaps.... That's what Papal infallibility means...

So many people have misunderstood Papal infallibility that they -- including those protestant heretics -- think of it as something that makes a Pope like God wherein he really does not make mistakes in everything that he do including making a coffee or preparing breakfast. When in truth and in fact, Papal infallibility refers to a very very simple thing.

If protestants view the DaVinci Code as a scourge for Catholics, then they should remember that the said novel can also be considered anti-protestant... In a sense, the book is anti-Christianity (to include all catholics -- eastern, western, orthodox, roman -- and protestants alike)

Dan Brown's novel views Jesus as merely a plain human being. He claims that Jesus's so-called divinity was just a result of Constantine's politicking. Meaning to say, it was due to Constantine's insistence that Jesus be made to look like a God, to be immortalized, to be worshipped, etc...

But then again this has been debunked by so many scholars with various references to the Holy Bible and the church fathers...

This is not an INNOCENT fiction. THIS IS AN ASSAULT TO CHRISTIANITY.

Those who claim to be Catholics yet will watch this movie is the target of Dan Brown. Watching the movie is success enough for him and the anti Catholic, and Satanic forces.

i think you have done your best to dissuade people from watching the movie.
no one can fault you for trying and i'm sure you're only doing what you think
is right but it's probably time to give it a rest now. you are sounding like a
broken record. next thing we know, you'll be preaching to us mere mortals.

read what you have written and understand.
then laugh (that is if you have a sense of humor).

oh and don't worry no one will accuse you of "pretending to be intelligent" - you just don't have it!

lastly, go back to watching stupid tagalog shows and reading stupid tagalog pocket books that you can buy at any sari-sari store for P10 or below.

What's so interesting is the issue about ***...

According to the novel, *** is actually a true form of communication with the divine.. Meaning, if you are having ***, then you are communicating with the transcendent absolute.

This was the reason why the Church has demonized *** because if people will find out its other purpose then the church will lose its role as an entity to the divine.

This is also the reason why so many cults have *** rites .

Funny when one of Robert Langdon's students jokingly insinuated we should all be having more and more *** -- premarital or not -- everyday...

The personal Papal prelature Opus Dei figures prominently in the novel... As expected of course..

I would have been a member of this organization when my friend invited me to a so-called seminar on "How to Study" which was held at Sugbo Study Center, which in turn was actually run by the Opus Dei.. The people were nice but the aura of secrecy was evident.. I was briefed not to bring along with me women friends... Dunno why....

Anyhow I still managed to attend Blessed Jose Ma. Escriva's thanksgiving mass (was it his death anniversary or beatification??) at the Guadalupe Church. The ceremony was pompously jampacked with people. Man this person was something else!!

OT: read my post about *** again.... hehehehehe
