"No law shall be passed to restrain or abridge the liberty of speech or of the press."
Can anything be plainer -- anything be more forcibly stated?
"No law shall be passed to abridge the liberty of speech."
Now, while you are considering this statute, I want you to keep in mind this other statement:
"No law shall be passed to restrain or abridge the liberty of speech or of the press."
And right here there is another thing I want to call your attention to. There is a constitution higher than any statute. There is a law higher than any constitution. It is the law of the human conscience, and no man who is a man will defile and pollute his conscience at the bidding of any legislature. Above all things, one should maintain his self-respect, and there is but one way to do that, and that is to live in accordance with your highest ideal.

Di tanang tawo mosuroy sa CCP, pipila lang makakita ani. Siguro may bayad pa gani ang entrance.
I find it offensive to my religious beliefs. But on second thought, he's not worth talking about. Kung mosuroy ka sa kadalanan, or moadto kag mall, or makig-chika sa imong mga higala ug pamilya, you'll find out people talk about far more important things in life. He got what he wanted, which is to cause an uproar. Now let's all move on.

I will use scorpionqueen's post for my example.
First, imagine the year is 1896.
So the stage is set, here goes the rewritten post:
"Di tanang tawo maka-afford palit ug Noli mi Tangere or El Filibusterismo, pipila lang makakita ani. Furthermore, kadaghan sa mga Pinoy kay dili man kabalo mag-basa, and if makabasa man, dili makasabot sa ilang gibasa. I find this Jose Rizal's books offensive to my religious beliefs. But on second thought, he's not worth talking about. Kung mosuroy ka sa kadalanan, or moadto ka'g plaza, or makig-chika sa imong mga higala ug pamilya, you'll find out people talk about far more important things in life. Rizal got what he wanted, which is to cause an uproar. He'll be executed soon (thank God). Now let's all move on."

Before they display this exhibits , im sure everything is already anticipated . ..
it is expected na ma close jud ni cya.. pero start palang ni .. Religion limits the mind of people
and dili ni forever nga mo hawd ang religion . Freethinkers are comming out so as athiest out of the closet .
point here is there are too many gods out there , pero im sure we all have the choice.
did i imply that? i was only asking if it was your genre. i didn't know you had such a low opinion of it that you would take it as an insult if i asked you that question.
collection of refuse can be a form of art. at its very core, art is the human being expressing himself freely and without any entanglements other than the ones driving his self-expression. if that expression requires refuse collection, then...
well, you're certainly entitled to your own opinion, though, to get back to my main point, you need to reevaluate what you think of is art.
as with most things in life, context is everything. if you're "significant whoever" is someone with the cultural/religious/sociological impact of jesus, you're going to have to develop a sense of humor sooner or later.
case in point: if someone took your "mom, sis, wife, girlfriend, aunt, grandmother", made them a religious icon, got their picture, put it on a flag and made it a rallying point to go to a country to kill thousands of people who unfortunately don't have the same high opinion of your "mom, sis, wife, girlfriend, aunt, grandmother", how would you feel about it?
