i think its best if you saved your money and went for the branded ones. I've tried buying chinese pads from the cheap android 1.6 ones to the latest 2.2 with the Rocker Chips and the A4 processors like the iPad but they still fail. They have resistive screens so you need to put more pressure on it screen to navigate and the graphics processor and the processor itself seem rather slow for functionality.

The cheapo versions will set you back 3,800 and a huge headache when it bogs down. no warranty support and usually the Udisk which holds the memory gives in the quickest.

My suggestion, save up the cash, and get the real thing. The iPad 2 sells for 25-26k. The Archos 101 also is a good choice. I've tried the Archos 7 and it works awesome.

-little browsing/video
-appointments/scheduler/contacts
-learning thru pdf/videos

medyo hinay but works for me. If i needed more processing power, i'd use the laptop. Tablet are also smaller which is easy for me to carry.

where's a good place to buy? one that's cheap and wont cause too much problems? im really thinking of getting one.. but im thinking i might regret getting it.. i mean i feel like getting the ipad is too much. i dont need all the games. what i really need to do on it is to go on facebook and play some games maybe.. then read some ebooks on it.. what dyou guys think? should i get one or just forget it?

The cheapest and best way to get a nice Android Tablet is to buy a Nook Color ($250) Unlock the bootloader and use CFW and overclock it to 1.0ghz Ta da! You have your very own Samsung Galaxy Tab for half price.

Then again, for a little bit more you could get the Asus Eee Pad transformer... Damn that thing is awesome.

I've tried one of those and it does not have OSX.

It uses Ubuntu Linux with an OSX Theme.

Also the specs are like a netbook, so no point.
