Difference between symbian and adroid (eclaire/froyo) OS

trying to buy a phone but i dont know which OS to choose.
if i choose nokia, most likely i'd get a symbian, if a choose samsung, i'd probably get an adroid

performance, in-depth customizations, extreme wide variety of basic to advanced applications, and updates; these are few of the things that symbian 3.0 is still far behind.


symbian is good(ive been customizing symbian for years, & they have been here for years as well), they have the promising features, but just cannot in par yet with android. im hoping they can cope up since android is climbing fast.



i love both symbian and android though. i have been happy with symbian till i got my hands on android smartphones.

Symbian is crumbling. Nokia's jumping ship and going win WinPhone7.

Symbian was good while it lasted, and was actually my preferred OS before Android got to version 2.0. At this point, Android is miles away with a plethora of features and applications that's sure to make you fall in love with it.
