Today daghan professional photographers gamit sony na, one of them is nigel barker, he use his sony a900 sa mga editorial and fashion photoshoot.

quote na sad ni nako ug usab this 2011:

What Sony is managing to do to both Nikon and Canon - is putting major pricing pressures on their mid-level, and pro level DSLR's.

"This is a good thing for us all Canon or Nikon users."

My alpha a100 gave me a winning slot in my first sinulog photo contest and well as 2nd prize in the recent sunstar photo contest. My sunstar entry was submitted without any pp. 100% from camera only. Sony has served my dslr needs well enough. im now planning of getting a third body.

Nganong manaway man gyud ning uban sa Sony nga okay ra man ang Sony Dili lang gyud limpyo siya og iso kumpara sa Canon og Nikon layo ra siya pero iyang features uban kay maayo man Palig-unay lang pod dili kabintahaan ang Sony kay usa na sa ilang kalidad lig-on kaayo og mga products Maayo pod mo desinyu Kung ato hunahuna-on mas lapad og ideas ang Sony engineers kung electronics hisgutan Sila gani gahimo sa sensor sa Nikon sauna so dili pod basta basta Dali sila maka invent og bag-ong features

this is interesting.. in real world performance, how much is its buffer capacity for that boosted fps pre?

    what particular models?

edit: never mind pre, ive found them already, the a33 and a55.. have to check yet their actual performances in reviews.. the translucent mirror(replacing the conventional flipping-up mirror) is good.

wonder unsa kahay e tubag sa canon and nikon ani ^^ ...

yup a33 and a55 nindot sila pero i dont recommend them using long hours of work use like sports photography such as hokey game, basketball, and other fast pace sports because dali mo init ang processor if you keep on abusing the 10fps drive mode. this camera is only Best in travel, studio, short documentary, etc..
one thing ako na suya sa sony dslr bodys that canon dont have is the body stabilization and fast live view autofocus much faster and accurate than nikon.
Just want to share with you guys some facts about DSLR technology sa mga brands
Canon and Sony - they release new technology/features on the entry level for TEST run. if the technology is perfect they then apply it to the Pro-level DSLR
Nikon - they release new technology/feature on the Mid and Mid-pro Level DSLR then if technology is perfect they then apply it to the Pro-dslr and entry level.

but a33/a55 is only an entry level so what i need for now is a durable camera that can handle pure work pressure. so im really w8ting for the upcoming a77 and the next a900/a850 replacement.

mao ba, mo init ba gyud diay... bantayanan pa gyud diay nang sensor liban sa buffer capacity tsk tsk tsk... naana diay nakapurga nga mga sensors tungod aning fps nila? hey, the iso performance is comparable to the low iso noise performer canon 550d.

alimatuk sports photgraphy raba gyud ang gi emphasize sa ilang advertisement nyehehehe! ^^

maayo baya iyang translucent....bigaon naman kaayo e pronounce bai "LUUUUSSCCEEENNNTTT" as for DSLT (digital single lens transluuuuceeeennnntt), dili na DSLR.

(ps: wala ko plan mo palit ha kay wala pod koy ekapalit, nyehehehe! mahilig lang ko ingon ani. basin naay mag spirikitik diri maayo nang pahibaw-on da-an)

yup gamit sya for sports but like i said "fast-pace sports" and dili ma recomend. extreme sports such as Sk8brd, snowboarding, dirtbike drifting, racing, soccer, baseball basta dili short pace sports that you need to capture the moment ok ra sya.

the sensor is ok walay problem, ang mo init and processor pero wala may kaso cuz bsag unsa ka init di man sya mo error or shutdown so i believe sony make it durable enough pero maka bantay lang gyud ka sa init kung permi ra nimo ee 10fps and video. yup iso1600 karun sa mga entry dslr nindot naman. what they need to boast about iso performance is iso6400 if usable and nai commercial value ang image at that iso speed.

ops, the processor diay , not the sensor, libat ko bai.

hahaha, lingawa pod anang nga photographer trigger-happy kaayo dili na mo buhi og full press in a bigger span of time ^^(maayo pa papitlan nalang og cyanoacrylate ang shutter button) basin cguro akong old school nga d90 mokirig ana nga style ^^ 5min ra man gani ang max video interval ani d90 kay dali mo init ang internal organ. kung binayran cguro hala kumbira gyud pero kung enthusiast to serious photographer but not those professional shooter nga taga press sa shutter equivalent to money na murag dili gyud magpalabi pod.. not all entry level nindot iso(talking about all brands), bati gihapon ang uban. yes, youre very right, but i doubt pa nga karon panahuna maghimo sila usable iso range nga ingon ana in a large format for an entry level.

taympa, do you have unit ingon ani ron? (either of the two)
