you mean to say that we don't have equal access right now to contraceptives? are you sure?!

by the way, reproductive health has been taught in schools for a long time.. it doesn't require congress to make it a law.. CHED could just adopt it in their curriculum though I don't agree that it be taught to as young as kindergartens also (as what CHED planned before). I just don't see the need for the bill bro.. waste of our time & taxpayers money if you ask me.. better they prioritize their laws on education, etc..
like i said, i don't take B. Avila's word for it hook, line & sinker.. but i have to agree, why push for a bill when it isn't really needed?.. what is needed is education on reproduction.. you don't need a friggin' RH bill for that!!
why would you even call it an "opportunity" to make money bro?.. that shouldn't even be their agenda in the first place.. corruption is inherent in our government there are only a very few who aren't corrupted by the system.. I guess laws on punishing corrupt politicians is even a more daunting priority right now.. just my two cents..
I am pro-LIFE but I still believe that we can make our own choices given the right knowledge & moral compass to guide us.. I just hope congress makes Laws that are really needed in our country.. using the same, right knowledge & moral compass too..

yup we have the option to educate them about sexual reproduction...
option is an option.. it is not mandatory.. meaning.. if the person who is engaged in a public health service decides not to educate people because of his religious belief then it is his option.. and that's a problem..
one of the most important part of the bill is to penalize those people who are engage in public health services who does not provide the education the people need... it's their job to provide public service and if they won't because of their religious belief then they should quit their job..
it's like the church.. they educated us what is good and what is evil... it's up to us to decide which one to follow....
Provide the people the education that they need and let them decide what to do about this...
this will also test the church.. kung unsa ka ligon iya teachings.. will they follow what the church says or will they choose what the government offered?
