    i think what ms. monsod was trying to imply is for UP.....

    imagine they are given the best education at an affordable cost, then they do not share what they have learned to the people who are basically the ones paying for their tuition.

    its like being in a company where high cost trainings are given but one is expected to work there for a period of time to "pay it off" and if not, the employer who recommended that person would feel betrayed (if I were in their shoes I would)....

    Its understandable that practicality and survival demands to most Filipinos to go abroad to make a living for their families but we should also remember that also doesn't change the fact that when the country needed that service most they just simply were not there..

    lol whoever wrote that piece didnt exactly get it. im not even sure if she really DID watch the entire video. winnie was talking about UP graduates going abroad at once without "paying" back the country that "paid" for her education. not filipinos and OFWs in general. hell her speech was a lecture for her students not for everyone. react lagi dayun. hay naku.
