So, i bought a Emaxx 785G-FXN (i know there's a thread but this is more ACC
) and I paired it with a Sempron 140 for a decent application PC.
I was curious on the ACC feature and unlocking cores... So after installing everything, i went over to the bios and put the ACC feature to "Auto" (read some internet articles on sempron 140 unlocking to dual cores)... pg.boot nako, igo r siya ni kaging sa Emaxx logo..
Anyone knows how to do this right? And unlock the extra core...

are there any option( unlock feature etc. ) aside from the ACC feature?

UCC is the new one i think. Not all amd cpus have unlockable cores and such. if im not mistaken there was the athlon II 600 models which u can unlock L3 cache like the 635 etc. the Phenom II x2 500 series is common for core unlocks. There's also the phenom II x3 700 series for core unlocks.
Try updating ur bios. if it still doesn't work then i think the cpu can't be unlocked. Unlocking cores is a matter of chance after all.Last edited by P0w3rM0v3; 08-04-2010 at 11:48 AM.

Well the Sempron 140 can be unlocked too. There's a dedicated thread for it sa TPC and daghan napud ang naka-unlock successfully. Try updating the bios, but take necessary precautions.

im not shure about this but people used another bios from J&TW to be able to properly unlock cores. the bios from emaxx doesnt seem to unlock properly...

HOw do you take necessary precautions while updating bios bro? UPS... is that good enough?
