i work as a junior 3rd officer in a cruise ship. there are pros and cons. 1 good thing is if you like travelling, then this job is for you. the bad part is you'll be away from home for 10-12 months.

and honestly(based on my 3 years exp), morality doesn't exist onboard...aside from those who really stand up. well, it will be up to you, really. just consider 40 different nationalities and 1000+ co workers onboard.

what you'll need:
just prepare a passport, seaman's book, Basic Safety Course(solas) and a certificate of service from any 5 star hotels(1 year at least).

you can try magsaysay (less hassle; medical, contract signing and briefings will be in cebu)
but it would be better if you'll apply here at my present company; CF sharp.
