Well if you're on video editing why not select X1800XT?
Usually nvidia cards lack the edge in Video imaging/technology than ati.
ati's image is way better than nvidia's.

Not really bro, mas nindot nig abot sa DX10 as microsoft wants it nga walay company mag imbinto ug ilang shaders or special stuff altho they are allowed to add it pero morag maglisod na sila unless the game coder specifically supports it kay what DX10 will do is similar to that of console coding.. morag e unify gali niya tanan so it wouldnt matter *kaayo* if nVidia/AT or Intel/AMD specific instructions. still DX10 is in beta and that could change

been searching for an answer the past few weeks, and it really seems that the x1800xt is the way to go... most of the benchmarks prove that it is the better choice, and if i were to take the local prices as a gauge, then the 1800 wins hands down...
PC Express has an x1800xt for 29,995 pesos, while their 7900GT is only at 17,050... luckily both are the same price in the US.... heheheheeh
