we don't need to "CHANGE FROM OURSELVES" its just a wasted effort,, the 'common filipinos' traits are known all over the world for its kindness. the only thing that needs changing are the corrupt elected officials, the elites that pull the strings, .....yes, it's not too late to rebuilt the philippines, but will you see it? maybe your grandchildren will see the beginning of it & hopefully their grandchildren will enjoy the change that you are hoping for..

We should take care of our own world... it should start in ourselves in big and small ways...

i think its not all sa gov't. its a product of apathy & disrespect. everyday i see bad news on the tv coming from that place. People stealing, killing, and all bad things than good. Cebu is no exception but i see it as a message to all and i knew something like this would happen coz the world could barely put up with us like some kind of allergic reaction.

My friend sa manila even told me some flood victims were throwing bottles at rescuers tungod kay dugay kuno kaayu sila naabot. People looting on abandoned houses. And some security guard asking money on every truck loaded with relief goods entering the village. Imagine that selfishness.. To me, its like someone pressed the RESET button. I'm curious how the city could progress from this, how fast could it get back on its feet? How resilient are we? How much hope we have? How much we give and how less we complain?
