doesnt mean its goodbye for the agp since DX10 cards will be implemented also for Agp.. yes its a fast card but not as fast as 7800gt.

Its true there's even a X1600 pro for the AGP. The problem is availability.

but the X1600pro for agp is just a midrange card... unlike the X850 series... and X800 series... these cards performs better than the X1600pro AGP version.

i dunno you guys....but i'm maintaining myself a 66GT AGP and i can still play full details and at 1600x1200 res with all of my games....i just feel that these new videocards that use the PCI-X architecture are overkill.....for the moment, i guess...

I think FX-60s are an overkill. I think VCs are never overkill no matter how fast cause new games today can have settings which can measure up to your VCs capability.

While processors are the real overkill, as long as its AMD Athlon it can run any games without any performance problem. Dagon rana sa System RAM and the VC used.
