Where is the fault in the logic? Wala.
    nice logic...
so, when are you hiring househelpers?

    Mr Trams,
You too? Di rin nagbasa ng libro? You suffer the same fault of Ngalan.
What is that? Going into a debate not having mastered the subject.

Sayang ang minds natin if we dont read the subject of the debate.

Bec you will come out ignorant of the issues.

For example, you said, you want your helper to apply to me..

where in the world did you get that logic?

Did you read the Hyperwage Book? Is it written there that it is the fault of the employers not paying high wages?

    No, its not written there.

The author blames the govt for not setting a higher min. wage.

Did you read that? The author blames the govt for NOT setting a high wage. Hes not blaming the amo, and the companies.

Tama lang, bec no company will automatically do that, raising min wages to P20T except in certain cases.

But if the law forces them, then they will follow.

Jolibee in the US pays its workers USD7 per hour, for example, bec of the law.

Im sure Jollibee Phils will pay higher wges if the law demands it.

LEvel the playing field, di puede ikaw lang or ako lang.

BUt why am I explaining this to you? Its all in the book, why dont u read it seriouly Trams.

and help the Filipinos by advocating for Hyperwage instead of just blogging out there , spewing out motherhood statements about how you love your country but pay your own helper only P2t per month... (slavery wages).

Its not your fault you only pay them P2t. it is the govt fault.

PS. The computer you used to write your message here, did you pay world market price for that or even higher? And yet you can afford it? WHy dont you complain to Taiwan or IBM USA that you cannt afford their products?

And now you complain that this country cant afford to pay wages of maids using world market price for labor?

    Ano yan? Illogical!

    think think think...

now advocate wages of P70 for new grads. and P20t for helpers.

if you really love your fellow Pinoy and Pinay.

You are not an economist, and you are not a mathematician and you are not an MBA and you are not businessman therefore,

    while you have free speech

    you are not really qualified

to say the theory lack practicality.

And what kind of logic did you use when you say that at the MICRO LEVEL hindi yun maramdam?

Ano? You are directly giving P20T directly to the helpers and P70T to fresh grads, and MICRO LEVE HINDI RAMDAM?

what? what? what? how much micro do you want? That the micro of the micros. the lowest wage eaners the maids, and raise their wages 10x and you say hindi ramdam?

Come pls tell us what kind of logic is that.

Have you noticed that we have shown your arguments to be fallacious, not by motherhood statements, but by using our logic and arguments we read from the book?

The more you read the book pare, the more you realize how deep it is. Grabe. You thought the author missed something but he is always ten steps ahead of us.

For example, in your statement below, ito ang reply by the Hyperwage book
    - Do you as an individual, offer yourself to San Miguel or PLDT and say, hire me Im the cheapest engineer around? So why you do you think we should sell our country's labor as the cheapest?
Chapter 1 of the book yan pare. Read ka muna dyan.

What? You expect PLDT to hire you bec u are the cheapest?

    - You say factories will go to china or vietnam. Chapter 1 and Chapter 30 yan. There are two kinds of foreign investors
-- those who exploit our low labor cost and transfer to vietman as their costs arre lower

-- and those who invest to capture the purchasing power of the people. example, Jollibee going to USD (it is not there to exploit low labor, it is there to capture the purchasing power)

Very clear yan pare. Dapat lang clear. Logic lang naman tau. Debate and argumentation yan. Pol Sci tayo.

P.S. Read chapter 32 and 33 of the book. China and Hongkong are separated by a creek. But china has the lowest labor in the world, while HKG one of the highest. so why is HKG more prosperous than China?

Did HKG say, come to hKg bec we have the lowest labor in the world? Singapore too?

Are you sure you are using proper logic when you make your statements mr Ngalan? Sir, basahin mo ang libro, lahat ng tanong mo nasagot na. Chapter 1 and Chapter 33 lang yan sir (first and last chapter)

    Hmmm, interesting discussion...

So what third world country has implemented hyperwage successfully? No pointing to highly-developed countries that have high wages now. Rather, what third world country has clawed out of third-world status and joined the developed world by using this hyperwage theory? Or at least some semblance of it?

dali ra pagsulti sa mga possible causes and would-be solutions sa poverty... pero lisod ang pagbuhat, ngano kaha?

Indeed it is easy to make motherhood statement of do this-do that, but these things do not materialize that easily because of many hindrances. In as much the current administration is concerned there are some proof of the success of its anti-poverty programs and hunger mitigation campaign. The goal to ensure that every Filipino family has food on the table was achieved as shown by the decline in the number of the families who say that they experience hunger.

Of course these efforts would be doubled to continuously address the problems. But the cooperation of all sectors, especially the opposition in government, is also necessary. Instead of focusing on criticizing one person, why not use the time to bring or deliver the needs of the poor.
