You may get a 5D Mark II if 1080p+30fps is a need for you.
or get an HD video cam.
PS. was checking current HD video cameras... none of them can shoot 8-12MP hi-quality still photos! I can't believe Sony/JVC/Panasonic be doing like this?!

Sorry, some people look like they didn't understand what I was saying.
I was just wondering why they didn't used the same frame rate they have in the 5D.
Personally I don't see the need of having video in a DSLR but it appears to be the trend now since processors are getting faster and cheaper. Lets see what will be the replacement of the 50D.
