Hello,
I want to comment about Condo Living.
My name is Mr. Bean.
I'm an Electrical Engineer by profession.
I drive a mini and I love it.
I went to the GoldCoast, QLD a couple of days ago to setup a LAN for our new branch. I check-in for 2 nights at one of the high-end condo/serviced apartments just opposite Pacific Fair Mall. It cost our company $180 per night for a 1 bed condo with a Kingsize bed. It's a 30 level building rising above GoldCoast Hwy, Broadbeach. Highrise condos are growing like trees in this part of the world.
These are my observations while staying in a condo;
1) While watching Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, going to the Manila, Pampanga, south of Manila, and Palawan and eating local foods, I can hear people talking while they pass my condo door. I said, this is impossible I shouldn't be hearing them. So I measure how far is the couch to the main door and is about 8-9m (Just imagine me, Mr. Bean, measuring the distance using my foot).
2) While watching Miami Ink (not the other Ink posting here), I can hear the other tenant slamming their condo main door. I said, this is impossible, Bisaya Dako seems to be right (Just imagine me, Mr. Bean, rolling my eyes). OT: Mr. Bean advised you not to get a tatoo. Human skin wasn't designed for that.
3) Then I check out their catalog/brochures sitting on top of the coffee table. And to my amazement the first page is about How to escape in case of fire. I said, this is scary, this is one of the examples of Bisaya Dako. (Just imagine me, Mr. Bean, getting ready to get outta here).
4) I had a good sleep on the first night. But it was different on the second night. I am coming in and out of sleep because I can hear something like; dup..dup..dup..dup..dup..dup..dup. I said, come-on this can't be true! Bisaya Dako is right again! But at least it's not someone who is humping like a beaver next door (Just imagine me, Mr. Bean, making a naughty smile). It's Thursday night, and there is a party somewhere happening in the building. It could be in the 25th or 26th floor balcony. I stayed a couple of floors below.
I hope no one gets offended. I'm just giving my observations. Me, Mr. Bean, always give you a happy ending.
Just my cup-of-tea,
Mr. Bean
Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental..
the "quiet" city..
One of cleaniest city in the Pfilippines!
No doubt, Siargao is the best in pinas when it comes to surfing. I'll try to visit there someday. Quick Silver is the regular sponsor during the annual competition.
Bai, kinsa man ang ma-contact nato kung ngita ug MTB guide diha sa Carmen, Lanuza, etc? Is there an MTB outfitter from this locations?
cheers,
Bisaya Dako
Finally, someone agrees with my opinion. Thanks Mr. Bean.
Opinyon about condo?
Why so negative?
Those opinion (about condo), not only ridiculous, insults people who are living in condominiums, Many people from develop countries and Manila are living in condos and they are avid lurkers and readers here. I should know since many people visited my website through the links I provided here were from other countries and from metro manila, they will not support your sentiments as far as public opinion is concern. The condo boom in Davao makes me happy since its leveling up to its urbanity.
anyway, there a couple of improvement now from my website..... check it out.
