ROFLMAO.
When I was in the US, I too experienced these pretty invasive of privacy acts of this company and I'm very much obliged to do the next good thing - slammed the phone on them, all the time. And I have to admit, it feels so damn good.
Sorry.
For the records, I will not dare come close to your spooky place. What for? Lol.
Bye-bye surveyors.
Bwahahaha.
you don't have to get near to the place...you're not needed. slamming the phone while somebody's on? well, it shows how EDUCATED you are.
at least, some of the americans are kind enough to refuse to participate with the surveys. i don't find it ethical to slam the phone when somebody's on the other line.
way to go on your explanation Rishee on what market researchers are all about...
to those who disrespect our work... the next time you get a bad service on a company from the US, then a thought would arise from your puny brain saying, why have they not done anything about this bad service that they are doing... think of the many calls that you have slammed that would have dealt with services like those and then tell us who is at fault...
@rishee
still you have to stop listening to rumors and talk within the company... there is no quota... there is no number that they are after but there is just one fact that you need to understand... if the company is not happy with the work that you are doing, if you are not meeting company expectations with the job you are doing... they have every right to take you off the job that you were hired to do and have you replaced by someone who can do the job better...
keep that in mind the next time you report to work...
but still.. wala ko nangugat atong ako reply sa imo post, I'm just frustrated that you actually listen more to your friends than finding out for yourself what really went on with that "mass termination" as you would call it... I'm telling you right now, it was not a mass termination, it was just a long overdue clean up for the company's liabilities... if it was a mass termination and it was because of the premiums, then there should be no employees in this company that would last for 5 years...
part sa marketing strategy? kanang political survey?
i was refering to this:
"Western Watts is primarily a survey and marketing research firm (this company has received a BAD rep in the US for doing political surveys designed to have people doubt the democrats and the republicans - but that's another point). The first service to be reduced are those similar to WW as their service is generally not revenue generating. This type of service is also the reason why they can afford to hire high school graduates because the level of experience and maturity is not as high as "regular" call centers."
mao ni ako gi quote last 2-3 pages, unless naay mo deny ani hehe

First, its not western WATTS but western wats... one "t"...
Second if you have not read the post you qouted clearly, it says "SURVEY AND MARKET RESEARCH" that means, when the company does surveys, it is not only confined to the market but also does political surveys...
Third, if you are from the US, you will also know that all call centers there hire, High school students, college students, high school graduates and anyone who is need of work. Which you obviously have no idea about... if that is not income generating for you, then just dont mind those people who were able to put themselves through college or high school or was able to provide a warm meal to their families for working in a call center...
and lastly, as you all know, politics in the US is never calm and serene, its always bloody and cut throat so if you are a company who does service for a specific party in the US, expect bad talk from the opposing party... if a politician wants to know if the policies he wants to stand for is popular and will gain him votes or not, he then goes to surveys... THAT IS STILL CALLED STRATEGY...
Just goes to show sir, how small and narrow your mind is...
