Thread: RELIGION

Dacs, I hope you don't miss some of my posts above

More on worship. In the context of hyperdulia.... Dacs, I'm talking to you so I don't need to explain what hyperdulia or Ad Iesum Per Marian is It doesn't necessarily follow that when you say Jesus is the one I asked for mercy but Mary is merely the one I seek for intercession.

If you go through the plethora of petitions and litanies coursed through Mary exempli gratia calling her to take refuge prayers like that are still tantamount to worshipping Mary which is what the hyperdulia is. Likewise for the dulia why such a big deal if there is a commemoration of a "Saint"? (Eccl. 9: 5, 6)

Also, God even predicted the different faces of this impostor in Akita they have a chnky eyed Mary. In the Philippines we have a native Icon and in Akita there is a black madonna. (Rev. 13: 7 )

Dacs I've made my stand on the all-sufficiency of just the Bible alone, the unreliability of historical documents whose only goal is to defend the RCC and how all of us are members of the household of God as long as we believe (Eph. 2: 19, 2: 20, 1 Pet. 2: 4 - 8 )

and with this I tell you, bro. You have beed tricked by a deception that's been in perfect camouflage for almost 2000 years (Rev. 13: 8, 14: 9 ) You must only take me seriously if my application of Christ's teachings does bear fruit (Luke 3: 8 - 11 ) but you can't treat these prophecies as frivolous. Yes, you do and the most you have to do for yourself are by calling what I talk about as my interpretations which, God has also predicted you will consider as nonsense (1 Cor. 2: 14 )

Puro copy paste ang mga posters especially anti Catholics. Could you just simplify your explanations instead of posting kilometric responses. Di mabasa bay. If you think you can win us by flooding these copy paste, youre dead wrong.

    I am a Catholic because I believe the church is one and universal (Eph. 2: 19, 1 Tim. 3: 15 ) but I do not recognize the authority of Rome, (Rev. 17: 15, Rev. 18: 3 )

As for the "copy-paste" posters we all have our sources. I prefer to summarize them or give the links instead... although sometimes lifting all that has been essayed is instantaneous as we can view it in the forums.

Why didn' t God tell us in the Bible that He was sending the pope as the Vicar of Christ?
Why does the Bible insist that Jesus is still the head of the church, if He isn't?
Why does the Catholic church want the pope to be the final authority instead of Jesus?
Why does the Catholic church want the pope to be your teacher instead of the Holy Spirit of God?
    Conclusion
Of course Jesus is still the head of the church (Eph. 2: 20, 1 Pet. 2: 7, 8 ) the Bible doesn't write that but it writes about apostates who will be recrucifying the Son of Man (Heb. 6: 6 ) the Eucharist, the sacrilege. or people who will forbid marriage(celibacy compare against 1 Cor. 7: 9 ) and abstain from certain foods that are to be received with thanksgiving (Friday abstinence of meat during Lent compare against Isaiah 58, the whole of itÂ* ) - 1 Tim. 4: 1 - 4

Dacs, pls check my earlier and above posts.Thanks.

Of course even after this post I will be accused of heresy and deception by those people who are 1 Cor. 2: 14 who've also happened to read Col. 2: 8

The Bible is it's own interpreter. Who but the spirit of God knows the thoughts of God? - 1 Cor. 2: 11.
    1 Jn. 2: 27, Gal. 3: 14. No one knows it except the person who wrote it Himself - Rev. 19: 11 - 13

But 1 Tim. 3: 15 is realized when those who believe in the messaged that they preached are part of that Church consecreated in Truth through the powerful prayer of Jesus Christ - Jn 17: 19 - 20

But again, I will get accused because I don't have any witnesses to back up my "claims" (Matt. 11: 25 - 26) but we, believers have inumerrable witnesses - Heb. 12: 1Â* There are those who are trustworthy non-writers of the Bible but Jeremiah warns us against placing our trust in just anyone (Jer. 17: 5 ) and just because they're 2000 years closer than those who are reading the Bible today doesn't necessarily mean that most of their testimonies are true. (Jer. 17: 5 )

The heart is deceitful. Who can cure it? - Jer. 17: 9

Widely accepted scholarly sources? Where is the wise one? Which one of them are wise? (1 Cor. 1: 18 - 22)
for the wisdom of this world is nonsense in the eyes of God - 1 Cor. 3: 19

This debate is getting irritating although it would be nice to have it stay as we can read the hollow discourses of some and those with very profound reasoning.

Even if short or long post, this can't convince you for now. But who knows! Btw, gusto ka bang mahilangit ka?

Our Roman Catholic friends here insists on the Authority of the Church, claiming "there is no salvation outside the Church". However, even those who are "inside" cannot be exactly assured of that salvation. What is it then for us?
