Effective Jan 1st 2008 Sky Cable will be bringing in Discovery Channel and a few more new channels like AXN Maxx, Balls, etc......

Bad news is that they will remove Jack TV (Nonononononononono! Wer will we see Mad TV, Sotuh Park, etc.??), Star Sports & Basketball TV (but replaced with Balls), 2nd Avenue and Crime & Suspense (I've heard that this will become free TV but where the heck will we see fresh episodes of Heroes & Prison Break??).

Duda ako morag I've heard that these channels are owned by RPN. I dunno morag naay conspiracy against them....

I think it's Solar Sports, not Star Sports that's going, kay RPN channels man kaha? Well, they have to keep homecourt advantage.

As to my preferred provider, used to be DREAM sattelite but since they got rid of channels like Disney, NG Adventure & TechTV (not to mention Playboy & Spice before ), I'm ambivalent.
