Hello,
Please take time to read if you are into this!
I have been living abroad for about 6 years now and have come to realize that the only way to succeed an be financially stable is to start a business. Financially, I have nothing to lose, if I lose I can always have money to roll again.
Currently I have a stable job, with some spare money sitting idly. I've always believed in the saying "a penny saved is a penny earned", but this is not how a successful person think! Investment is key to financial stability-not through savings!.
So now, I'm starting this thread to gain insights from business minded individuals.
My target is to start an agriculture business hopefully within this year. To plant vegetable/s in 2018!.
To reach this goal, I need inputs from those who are into agriculture.
Questions:
1. What crop yields more profit? ( I had an experience planting Ampalaya, Eggpalnt, Okra, and Pechay back in my grade school years).
1.1 How many times in a year can we harvest or need to plant again in a year?
1.2 How long does it take from seedling-planting to harvest?
2. Which crop has the potential for export?
3. What crops do we highly import from neighboring countries?
4. Marketability?
These are the questions I have for now. There will be more to come certainly.
Please advise, I would highly value your time and inputs on this.
I will be home in the coming months or maybe next year. Part of my plan is to dine out with someone whom I can talk to and learn from on this venture and hopefully to gain a business partner.
I have read this:

What do you think?
PM is also accepted.
