(I don't know if there's already a thread about this, I looked but couldn't find one)

Barangay 143 is an upcoming anime (and this is genuinely an anime title) being co-produced by Japanese, Filipino and Singaporean studios. The studios involved are Asahi TV, Synergy88 and, August Media Holdings. The series will revolve around a group of high school basketball players in Manila. The anime will be produced in Tagalog.

So Ashai TV (JP) is the studio responsible for Doraemon and several Gundam titles. They will be responsible for direction and character designs, while Synergy88 (RP) will lead the production and script.

Expect this title Q2 of this year.



I don't know what to expect from this one, but its interesting.
