    Pinoy Adminstration?..administraton sa Palpak!..

PNoy and his allies are blissfully unaware that they've become pariah, the 13th floor in cyberspace. And rightfully so. Aquinos have wasted their opportunities to build on the political capital set by EDSA 86. They could've, in the charitable spirit of Agrarian Reform, used their own hacienda as example to the other gigantic landowners about land re-distribution. But they didn't. Instead they chose vindictiveness and persecuted the former Chief Justice and PGMA for the Supreme Court's decision to distribute the Ha. Luisita Estate to its farmer-tenants.

PNoy's mom was that way too. For writing that Cory hid under the bed during one of the coup attacks, the late Philippine Star columnist Max Soliven was sued PHP2 million which the latter had to pay after losing the case.

I've said this before, in the last elections, that I wasn't excited about another Aquino presidency. Under previous Aquino administration, Cebu was largely neglected...so much so that, after we got hit by two super typhoons (Nitang and Ruping), the national government only gave PHP 2 million as disaster relief....to which Tommy O (in his well-known candidness) replied "What am I going to do with this money, buy toothpicks for everyone?" And in a strange deja vu, we have another Aquino (PNoy) and another typhoon (Yolanda) and yet another mismanagement...among a list of dropping-the-ball which includes the Mamasapano incident, the Hong Kong tourist tragedy, BBL, and..."tanim bala"?

To be fair, there is a small positive light for this administration: the RH Bill. Of course, the idea would've been a good one...IF ONLY people bought into it, without the Catholic Church choosing dogma over practical realities. The other positive is that the nightmare roller coaster called PNoy's term is coming to a close.

Yes, time for a change. But please...spare me the "Marcos would've made Philippines into the next Singapore" or "We were a First World country during Marcos time". Those are bald-faced lies...kind of like what comes out of Imelda Marcos's mouth. I just can't trust that woman...or his son for that matter.

I agree most of what you've written bro except on the last part.

For me Marcos wasn't all that bad, in fact he was our president who really has a vision of what he wanted our country to become. He may be corrupt but he was also a performer. He did have several projects under his term, I remember when he was ousted after the EDSA revolution, it was my first time to go to Manila. I was amazed at the architecture of the place PICC and CCP. It was also my first time to ride the LRT and was very amazed because we didn't have those in Cebu. Yes there were reports of abuses and kidnappings by the philippine constabulary but our family didn't feel that we were in danger because we were never involved in all any form of insurgency. We were always law abiding citizens. In fact we felt safer during those times because crimes are really down.

Ang wa kaabot ato nga times, di maka relate. Walay hold up or tulis. Amo balay open pa kaau dili kinoral ug wa poy mangawat.

I'm BBM2016 and I don't like this as well. I don't even like the fact that BBM opened the SAF44 incident to counter Martial Law issue that PNOY is so insistent. I guess that's just how politics work, boast your visions (I believe PH can be MORE than Singapore) and fight fire with fire. I vaguely remember BBM tried to make some agreement with PNOY in some stage but that did not turn out well. I hope one day, PH will be united in some way. Fights & blame game is definitely not what we need now.
