No I'm in no way closer to being discouraged bro. Nor am I any closer to surrendering to wordly views. I am, however, deeplyencouraged to continue to learn more about the reasons why people act a certain way. In a nutshell, I choose my battles. Some use their minds while others use their fists. And sometimes also, people use silence. The world is just too noisy that we fail to listen to our conscience.

I did not actually hear the ENTIRE HOMILY of the ARCHBISHOP. For the record, I base my opinions on the article I've read.
No shame on that. Some people here also base their opinions on a book they read, or what someone has said.
If we have read the entire homily, one would then also counter: "Did you ACTUALLY know what he meant??".
So, there's no winning here.

From what I know, speaking out one's mind-- whether right or wrong doesn't merit a chili on the mouth.
