Mao gyud! the first people to react is the Vatican people... because they want to protect their "interest"... sometimes what I think about vatican is all poltitics than religious sect.

Sayang walay Discovery Channel sa Sky..
nindot bana tana ni tan-awn.
still proves nothing dude... ur taking it literally... we all know we can't take the bible as such.
Taking literally? proves nothing to whom? so if the verses are not to be taken literally how can we take it, spiritually? so tell me bro, whats the spiritual on that side when Jesus has risen from the dead and the body can't be found in the tomb?
Do you mean to say that we should not believed on it because no physical evidence and no one can narrate alive now to tell us what happened?
whether he ascended physically, thus no bones, or ascended spiritually, thus remains of his physical body is lying decomposed somewhere.
That's a Glorified body of Jesus that ascended to Heaven.
Our corruptable body will be changed to uncorruptable body when time comes, just like the body of Jesus it is a Glorified body.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1 Corinthians 15:50-54
Peace!

Glorified body is in state of spiritual that is not corruptable.
The Ressurected body of Christ passess through doors.
On those verses (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) its the transformation of corruptible body to incorruptable body (Glorified Body).
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. John 20:17.
Juan 20:17

Finally? Did I say all of the words of God should be taken spiritually?
The word of God is Life and Spirit.
Like this Respect all people, is this spiritual or literal?
Don't kneel down to idols or graven image, is this spiritual or literal?

The bible has literal and spiritual, hope you know it.
Like the birth of Christ, it happens in a manger, is it spiritual or it literally happened?
I'm daring you to post it here if I claim that all scriptures must be dealed or must be understand spiritually.
Here's the verse about the words of God:
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63.
Peace!
