You know why the media are there in malacanang?
Theyre not there to report his good deeds.
They are there waiting for the bad news and waiting and wanting for the president to slip.
So they cant report it and show it on tv first.
thats the kind of media we have now. I remember a long time ago a cebuano reporter in visayan herald.
He pretends to interview a vicemayor form a southern town.
but he was just waiting for her to slip.
And when she said a negative word about a certain politician.
He wrote it down and exaggerated her quote to make her look bad. then he ask her for plane tickets everytime he goes to manila. this is the type of media personnel that irritates me. i even served the guy siopao. so yeah i have no soft heart for media.
call me biased. i just hate the way they use their freedom of expression and free speech for their own selfish reasons..

inutil man pud ni c de castro sukad nahimo ni cyang politiko. So far ABS-CBN news are bias from the very start,, the always show the good side and one-sided news. GMA-News is the best, eventhough i hate this monotone mike enriquez-tas.

The chinese tourist hostage incident.
Pnoy should have mentioned it there.
That happened because media interfered.
If the hostage taker didnt see his brother on tv, he would not have snapped.
yeah media was to be blamed on that incident. i hope Pnoy reminded them on that.
then the go out and blamed them on the police and politicians.
The media has no business there. it was a dangerous crisis and they made matters worst.
And the media made it look like it was the president's fault.
sure the cops could have made a better job. But media made things worst on that crisis.
As soon as theyve shown the brother on tv being arrested, i remembered i said, "now they're all dead".

I'm also against sensationalized news. However, you can neither take away negative issues which are facts happened in our country. What the president is asking is balanced reporting. When the media report bad news, he also want them to report the good ones.

But the real issue here if its ethical to slam a newscaster in a private event. Do you usually see and hear a guest speaker doing that? Again, there's a proper forum to that. Its ironic when you say the president deserves RESPECT when he doesn't show it himself. He should tell those things in his SONA.

You're right. And I can see now the similarity between his sister Kris and also with Boy Abunda. De Castro should leave ABS and should perhaps move to TV5.

OT: I don't see you as being yellowish, jack. More on the brown side after so long reading your 'qualified' opinions and comments. You are more incite-ful rather than insightful. But I do admire your resilience. With the elections up around the corner, a lot of politicians can use you as an effective propagandist. That would be very good for you.
