if you ask me whats my bold prediction...........

I predict buyers who were interested to buy the new nokia N95 will HOLD their purchase and wait for the Iphone....

They will wait for 2008 and decideThey may buy the N95 or buy the Iphone. They will wait

Highend phone sales will be disrupted.... Buyers will wait for the Iphone and see how it compares....

2007 will be a year of wait and see.......

for the O2 XDA made by HTC..... buyers will also HOLD their purchase and wait for the Iphone.....


Iphone is creating an anticipation..... and also uncertainty for the high end phones....


phones that will be affected include:

p990i
N95
Blackberry
HTC makers of O2 XDA

buyers will WAIT and SEE the iphone before putting their money.......

for the regular 3G phones N70, N80, RAZR etc.....
it will do OK..... its not in the price range of the Iphone.......

but then again people will SAVE money for the Iphone..... so it will be an interesting year....
thats what will happen for the rest of 2007

There will be a lot of anticipation for the Iphone..... if it flops.... nokia will be happy... but if it rocks..... nokia won't be so happy...... HTC also will have the same scenario......

big letdown is that it won't support 3rd party apps..... so it will be more of a feature phone rather than a smartphone... the lg prada phone looks similar to the iphone as well....

n9500 has a pointing device aside from the keyboard scroll keys.
n80 doesnt have a keyboard.
p990 is touch screen were you can use your finger...

If your thumbs and fingers are use to pressing keypads....... No problem.....

right now on my n73 i can watch deal or no deal, tv patrol, cnn or any gma7 shows live...
will the iphone be able to do that without 3G? for CNN, not a chance!
i like seeing and hearing my news...not just read text or still pix on the internet with a finger.
watch favorite local tv shows like deal or no deal when no tv is available or when mobile...

so i can CHECK whats the news, weather, sports, finance.....

i already have all these on my phones today. face it...its NOTHING NEW!!

Iphone will only be exclusive by Cingular.

as per 3G or edge.... in San Francisco or will be most of the Bay Area (CA) cities will have free WiFi access...

I dont think 3G support or the absence of it makes me want the iphone less. My most valid concern is I've heard that the network carrier Jobs' chose is Verizon, so this must mean that the iphone is not a GSM phone...which means most, if not all pinoy networks wont work (because almost all mobiles in pinas uses sim cards) unless Steve Jobs' Asian version (200 will have this feature then don't get your hopes up for any Globe or Smart iphones.

But microsoft phone will DIE......

all I can say about IPhone advantage over the current high end celfon is its OS and specially the user interface.
'la gyud maka lupig... hehehe but for it's downside... battery life and no expansion for memory ra ang ako angal.
so waits sa ko sa 2nd or 3rd generation para ani.

oh, plus the camera diay... may'tag naa pud sila flash

ps. i have the ibook/mac book and ipod nano/video... nice gyud kaau...
