haha... dili man mahal ang mag-diet... naay daghang prutas sa merkado oh nga barato nya makahangyo pa jud ka. naa pud fresh isda sa merkado... panagsa ra kog canned tuna, mas maayo fresh na isda. chicken skin oh, ayaw jud ug kaon ana.... humba, ayaw sad... once maanad ka nga dili mukaon ug mga ing-ana kay luod na para nimo e-kaon. effective sad nang mag-vegetarian ka... 2 months ko nisulay magvegetarian, after ana kay baho kaayo ang meat para nako pero ni-undang lang ko anang mag-vegetarian kay nihit kaayo ang food nga puro veggies or dugay/hasol maglutoluto ka kada-meal nimo... inom sad ug milk if dili ka lactose intolerant. and of course, exercise...
lain man guro na pasabot ni zvike nga diet. its bodybuilding diet that costs very much. lisud mag vegetarian ka nga diet if bodybuilder ka. if im not mistaken, dili complete ang amino acid profile sa plant protein. although naa mga bodybuilders nga vegetarian some of them have been bodybuilding for years then nag switch na sila to vegetarianism for better health and longevity...
Thanks sa info. I'm trying to cook my own meals man gud and I want to go on a low-carb diet to drop a few pounds. Kapuy man gud count ug calories so mag-switch lang ko from rice to other low-calorie/low-carb alternatives. Medyo lisod jud sya kay wa koy lain mathink ipares sa fish/poultry/red meat but rice.
Since medyo expensive man ang broccoli I'm thinking of substituting that for cauliflower and maybe some frozen vegetables (peas, carrots, corn). Good thing I like them pud especially blanched and coated with little butter. Nomz. Maybe I'll add some baguio beans and chayote pud nga blanched. We'll see.

@dwardwar mahal gyud especially magdiet ka. pero if determined gyud ka mu lose ug pounds mas dali pud if e incorporate nlang nimu ug light to moderate exercise. yeap, puro mga mahal tawn na brad ang imong gipang mention. brocoli ug caulisamot!heheh. bitaw, if maanad ka, nindut man pud ang kamote. but i still eat rice man japon. dili manku ganahan ma stress over anang mga macro nutrient/calories...for me, i just enjoy the lifestyle of lifting and eating somehow right. as far as ive known, ang white rice, dili man ingun cya grabe maka spike sa insulin bah. what is wrong with our diet is that atua man gud paresan dayon ug softdrinks! i guess thats the culprit.
if hilig gyud ka mag fry. try using a non=stick pan and spread over some olive oil in it...

hi! ga-exercise ko everyday btw, or at least 5 times a week. 30 minutes ra hinuon, cardio and light weights. I want to try running pero init naman kaayo igka-mata nako ang mga 10pm nako makauli.
I'm eating scrambled eggs and potatoes for breakfast right now and giluod na jud ko ug fried food. ang imo suggestion kay mao na ako gibuhat karon actually. non-stick pan and olive oil or sometimes olive pomace oil.
ang akong challenge jud kay lisod kaayo mag-grocery and prepare ug meals for one person. tsk. ganahan ra jud ko healthy nga food most days since lisod kaayo ana sa office kay makig-lunch out dayon ang mga tao, etc.

thats good to hear. pero mostly sa akong mga nahibal-an, body builders did2 sa US wala pudtigprepare sa ilang meals, SILA RA!!!and thats where the challenge starts... ang ilang style, cook daan the night before ang tanan meals for the next day then pack it in equal servings throughout the day. usually gina microwave lang nila ilang food if mu eat na sila. like mid morning,lunch, up to dinner nga mga meal. mao sad if nagcount gyud ka sa imong protein and calorific needs, protein powders and pills is of great use gyud. hinoun, lain lang kaau tan.awn magdala ka ug big lunch box padulong sa office, mostly kataw.an ka sa mga people. naa ko kaila na magdala gyud cya iyahang food inig ad2 sa resto and enjoy with the rest sa iyagn office mates, good thing naka sabot rapud iyang officemates sa iyang gipang buhat kay the results shows mansad.
so make it a challenge nga u are walking the talk so that maka sabot nalng pud sila sa imong gipangbuhat ....

What's a good sample grocery list for the week? Tabangi ko build ninyo beh (haha) nya akong paliton karon weekend nya try ko build ug 1 week worth of healthy meals using the list.
On my list are:
- chicken breast (5 pcs)
- Fish (5 slices)
- frozen vegetables
- eggs (half-dozen)
- Sugar-free apple juice (30 calories ra ni per 250ml). Pangpa-tulak in case way lami akong luto, which is usually the case haha.
This is for lunch and dinner nga meals kay mag-herbalife shake ra ko igka-morning with banana and oats. Milk on some days para naay calcium gamay. I also take fiber supplements (kung makahinumdum).
Okay ra ba ni?

para naku, nindut na kaau na imong grocery list oie. but if you want a cheap source of good protein, nindut na ang eggs. its not true na maka raise sa cholesterol, eggs are rich in EFA (essential fatty acids). dats already complete, naa naman diay ka shake nga herbalife. btw, are u on a diet at a certain period of time? for how long? naa bya gyud time nga ma stressed over ka sa imong diet. mao na ilang tawag nga cheat day.
i know someday maabot rana nimu imong goals coz sa tana.aw naku determinado man pud ka. just be consistent... consistency is the key!hehe.
what type of exercises u do?
I'm currently doing Jillian Michaels' 30-day shred. 30 minutes of strength, cardio and abs siya nga exercise. hehe. On my 4th day kay pag-wednesday gikapuy ko sa pamaol so nag-cardio exercise lang ko nga DVD ra pud pero for 30 minutes sad.
I'm not really on a "diet" in the conventional term, murag change lang ko ug lifestyle ba so murag hangtod sa hangtod ni nga healthier choices. I want to be healthy man gud pud. And be stronger mao nag-weights ko ginagmay. Akong goal kay maka-pushup ug tarong. haha. Di ko ganahan anang daot lagi pero di kaalsa ug tarong sa laptop or di kailis ug tubig sa dispenser. Dapat both.
also, kay nag-"brad" man ka ganina, I'm a girl.
Re:GroceryList - kapuy man sigeg prito ug boil ug eggs nya kan-on as is. Naa kay mga recipes sa eggs nga lami? Kasulay ko eggs with salsa, eggs with potato, etc. Looking for more options.
