So you're telling me, all you are angry about is a picture? That words are "lighter" in effect to you (even if what the words are saying are actually worse than a graphical representation) compared to a picture. Now I'm not surprised why this nation is not prospering--the kababawan is very clear and evident--"sa picture lang kami mag rereact"...para palang isip-bata.

And if you pity me, I also pity you (for not being rational), patas ra. You're only confident because you have people (and the Church) backing you up--I stand alone, but not afraid.

It IS and has always been about popularity bai. Let's see how far you can go with your suggested "change" by being a nobody.

In short, bai, kung wala kai dating, walay kai ikabuga para magpalihok ug tao. So don't preach about "change" here if your example is a tasteless nobody artist.

Ako I'm not fond of the church but even I know this is not a means to defeat them. And besides, that effort is a done deal. Catholicism is dwindling every few years.

Lapas na kaayo ang na abot nato diri hehehehe .

We can discuss all kinds of rationales , idiocracies , stands etc yet the very core issue here is being the artist na not so responsible in choosing his mediums created such outcry that :

    - As claimed , he wants to be heard but he was barking at the wrong tree .
    - That he is a real artist yet his expressions are not of good taste and acceptable whoever views it mapa theist or atheist .
    - That CCP is supposed to be a public establishment yet we can just easily say " nobody invited the critics " .
    - The artist is being interpreted as revolutionary yet nothing was revolutionized .

As much as I want to rest my case , I am hoping that our resident ASPIRIING ARTIST , ARTIST , WANNABE ARTIST , etc will acknowledge that indeed the subject was INSULTING and being DISRESPECTFUl to the church .

    @ RODSKY ...

If that's the case then call him ambitious. Better yet, call me ambitious too. I'm all for the stamping out of mysticism, and the promotion of rational thought.
I would find it realistic and feasible if you are directing this statement to the RELIGIOUS instead of the RELIGION . Be realistic pod . Anyways , do you agree with me that the artist is INSULTING the CHURCH and he is very DISREPECTFUL ?

Dili ka angay ma surprised kay siya man ang nagrule sa kalibutan karon, expected jud na sya bro. angay ka makuyawan if ang mga true Christians mao nay majority sa kalibutan but that's not the case.

Dili na i-torture si Dawkins bro kay mao na mismo ang gusto sa mga followers of Satan who are in power sa kalibutan karon to destroy Christianity.

This book states that you, yes you, anubis, are suffering from a form of mental illness, because you believe in an entity that does not exist, at least from a rational and empirical standpoint. Now, why is it that Mr. Dawkins is not arrested or executed by the Catholic Church, nga gi-insulto man ka niya directly, compared to that guy who made that artwork, mas dako ang "sala" ni Richard Dawkins nimo. If we were in the 1400's, believe me, is Richard Dawkins gipabitay na unta ni siya--but your religion Catholicism is NO LONGER in CONTROL of the world today--mao nga Mr. Dawkins is still alive and well. Understand and accept that.
That's why bro as i have said, the world is now declining morally and now on the verge of destruction. If peace ang ilang aim in the world, have you not tried to think about why the world powers nag contest nalang ug buhat ug nuclear bombs?

    Dawkins’ Delusion (continued)

Men who have changed the world (for better or for worse, but change nonetheless):

George Washington - he led a revolution against the British (below the belt ni siya, kay the British Empire didn't think the colonies would revolt against them) to create the United States of America.

Mao Zedong - he led a revolution against the Chinese imperialists (again, below the belt "according" to the imperialists) to bring to China the state it is in now

Mikhail Gorbachev - he led Perestroika, which led to massive changes in the Soviet Union (which led to its eventual demise), again below the belt according to the hard line communists, who never thought that communism will be dismantled by one of their own leaders.

And the list goes on and on and on...

    -RODION
Then unsa naman nahitabo sa morality nato karon?

We can improve our lives bro without denying the transcendent being who fashioned us in HIS image! But if the 'change' you mean is in the inclination to distort morality then, dili na mao imoha!

And likewise, I am hoping that our resident ASPIRING ARTIST, WANNABE ARTIST, etc. will acknowledge that indeed the subject was NOT INSULTING, and within the premise of a free society under the banner of DEMOCRACY and A KNOWN FACT THAT you cannot express a FORM of PROTEST while being "respectful".
