Would buy something at a very low price even though you know it is a stolen item or an item left behind (found by someone)?

People these days care less if what they bought is stolen or found as long as it is very cheap.

I encountered a lot of people coming to my shop, selling there items at a very low price (usahay kadudaha og dagway). I don't give in to that kind of temptation because I believe in KARMA.

I experienced KARMA of things or money you found. This was 8-10 years ago. In colon street, while I was walking, I noticed a Nokia 3310 Cellphone on the street, someone dropped it. I pick it up (the battery and cell) because it got separated. I tried to chase someone in front of me to return it but the guy I approached wasn't the owner. When I turned the cell on, it had a pin code, so I wasn't able to access the sim. I got greedy and decided to keep it for myself. Since cell those days cost much.

After 2-3 years, I bought a Brandnew colored cellphone that cost around P9T at that time. After just using it for 1-2 months, it got stolen while I was waiting for a jeep near Gaisano Metro.

Damn, I saved for that cell and it didn't even reached a year. KARMA got back at me. The one I found was cheaper because it wasn't colored.

So since then I believed KARMA is real. "What you do unto others will be done unto you" Maybe 3 times fold or more.


Scenario:

If someone sold you a Iphone 4 which cost P30T just for P5T because he told you he just found it while riding a Taxi, would you buy it even though it wasn't stolen?

Just be honest...

Just look at how popular pirated DVDs are. Everyone knows they are illegal and stolen intellectual property, but how many care? Even policemen buy them!

Most of the time ma tintal jud tah, but for me kadaghan nko maka experience ani pero most of the time nga maka experience ko ma tayming man sad nga daghan ko kwarta so ma uli jud nko.

One time nag withdraw mi sa ako kauban sa may Citibank Cebu Bisnis park, naa juy nahibilin nga mahalon nga phone sa atm machine amu gisundan, pero daghan man mi atu kwarta kay december bonus man so amu jud gi uli. Gihatagn nuon mi ug 300 amu gi kaon ug pizza sa yellow cab.

honestly di sad ko mo palit ug second hand nga gadgets specially kung wa ko kaila sa mamiligya, ok ra if kaila jud ko den slightly use ra jud nang butanga... but most of the time di ko mo palit ug second hand nga butang...

pero ako di sad ko mopalit og kanang klaro jud nga kinawat oi. Mopalit ko kanang di ko kahibaw nga kinawat para limpyo konsensya ba.

My experience last week:

Nisuroy ko og mga Motorcycle shop during my lunch break kay walay lingaw hehe!
One store i found og PWERTE jud nako iboga sa "side mirror nga dako gold orange hehe!" tag P600 man pud. Kapaliton kaayo ko even though my bike is still new nya perfect pud ang akong stock side mirror. pero nakontrol ra nako wala nako palita.

BUT when i went to the next nearby store, SUS! mga batang yagit gi oferan ko the exact side mirror ako naibgan for P200 nya mahangayo pa! naks!

pwerte jud bag-oha nya humot pa kaayong bag-o. SUS! makatintal jud. pero wala ko oi! di madala sa ako konsensya hehe!

mabawsan pa lang ko na, mura na nuon ko galabay P200 if maohon hehe!

Na-igo gali sad ko sa ila share na mupalit og pirated DVDs. Kay usa ko ana na mupalit sad.

Pero wala paman ko hinoon na KARMA sa pagpalit og Pirated DVD. Lesser Evil siguro na, kay dili man direct nimo gi-stole. Then gamay raman kantidad sa DVD. he!he!he!

Sa Colon daghan kaayo mudoul, dala og alahas, barato ra daw kay kinawat. Pero diay fake. Sa ma-ilad lang. Kung Greedy kaayo na tao, maka palit gyud og ahat kay abi niya nakabarato siya. Diay Fake na alahas diay to. Modus man gud ni na style.

Ako amigo, nabiktima sad ani. Pero dili alahas. Gi-offer sa iyaha sa tao kay Original Rayban daw na kinawat. Palit dayon siya for P1000. Pagka 2weeks after nilubad, fake diay to. ha!ha!ha!

People are people. Lisud baya kung nana ka sa situation. Imo nalang gyud consensya ang mag-igo.
