    off topic

davao city is a place where you can leave your gates and front doors unlocked and still wake up alive with all your belongings intact.

a dog is considered a pet in davao city, not as a security guard

davao city is a place where you can walk the streets at night and use your iphone and display your jewelries, your only concern is that your jewelry/neck might turn green and ruin your bling lifestyle

when you ride a taxi in davao city, the taxi driver never asks "asa ta muagi?" and you would arrive in your destination at the shortest possible time.

davao city however is not suitable for those pa "choy choy" pa "siga siga" types... they would go home humiliated or worse, they wouldnt be able to go home at all. ^__^

i invite everyone to come to davao city, enjoy the cheap and delicious food, the clean environment, and warm hospitality of the davaoenos... BUT... ayaw lang gyud mo buhat ug illegal diri kay you may not like your stay. ^_^

YES there is freedom of choice in davao... you can choose if you want to experience your stay to be heaven OR hell... hey, its still a choice

mas admirable iyang gibuhat coz she's just lecturing anyone from NCR or Cebu mayors on how to get the done by letting a solid punch fly. na feel namu ang iyang effort. for us, thats what you call AUTHORITY

heck, in that kind of situation I'd rather abandon my diplomacy for a few minutes to prove my point

@Koontz: The problem (beyond her not being immediately arrested) is this.... she will do it again because her approval ratings have soared. The blind acceptance by the public of an elected official beating somebody not only in front of witnesses, but on national TV will open the door to future abuses. A line needs to be drawn by the courts otherwise a dark precedent has been set.

At the end of the day, those who are persecuting the mayor won't get anywhere with my their claims.

Davao will always love the Dutertes, they maybe hot tempered but they surely made the city progressive. The act of punching is for sure not good, but broaden your mind and understand the situation.

Kay kumo lagi nanumbag, dautan na??!! And mayor lagi kuno nagpahawod hawod!!!

Diba thats a form of abuse of authority sad on the sheriffs behalf?

hala sige i weigh ninyo asa ang bug at ana. ug kinsa ang mas buotan nila. aber tubag!!!

Walay bigtime? hmm..you should think twice, dont just consider malls and towering buildings as your benchmark. suroy sa mindanao and you'll see.

anyways, we're all filipinos here. kung makiglalis gyud mos taga davao, prove them that your mayor is better.
