Hello istoryans,
Me and my bf are assuming an apartment in a well-known subdivision in Talamban but the landlady is giving us problems.To the point where she wanted to have me picked up by the police with some lame accusations that she cant even prove. We have decided to leave the apartment because even back when me and my bf are not yet together she's always been giving problems to him and the other tenants and its too much.

She got pissed off lastnight 06-06-11 as she wanted to pick-up the rent at 6pm but then she was late and we did not receive any message from her informing us that we were late until 6:45, she tried to call me but could not answer it as i was at a meeting at work. then she started sending me nasty messages, telling me who am I and that I am a nobody and that i should not have made her wait and I dont have respect to her.
My bf waited for 50 mins - she did not arrive, we received no messages/phonecalls from her.

So I gave her a phone call wanting to tell her to contact my bf and not me as I dont have the money but right before I was able to do so, she started yelling at me asking me if im rich? and who i am and used a lot of insulting words that i dont want to mention anymore.

her accusations:
first: she said i texted her saying shes a w*ore" but could not even prove it". I may not have as much money as her but I have manners and I respect each human kind. I tried to deal with her in a way that I would never offend her as my bf already warned me of her being a trouble maker. As a matter of fact she texted me saying right when i lived in her house (the house that my bf is renting) I bring badluck - she is now a prostitute and that her husband doesnt have any money..
-viola! it came right on her mouth that she is a prostitute, not from mine and besides, its not me who's a badluck at your age you think someone will still pick you up even in a street in Colon? haha dream on..
my reply was: your personal life has nothing to do with me. we dont have the same wavelength so no matter how i try and explain, she will never understand me. and that if she has a problem with the rent then she should approach my bf since its him who pays it not me.

and since she could not prove that, her next accusation is ‎-that she's pissed off bec my bf did not introduce me to her as the owner..
Goodness! what has that something to do with the rent? among the 10000xxxx things that we need to think off we really have to make a big issue out of that? but yes, i did tried to introduce myself anway and even offered her something to drink but she gave me that nasty look for head to toe.
-is that how she welcomes her tenants guest? Ive dealt with people of different nationalities and standard of living but ive never met anyone as arrogant as her.

I asked her what Ive done wrong and she cant give me any valid reason. Even her other tenants complained about her and the way she handles us. She likes to feel that she is important.

Since she has nothing to complain against us - now shes sending someone to guard us ..
WOW - that flatters me! body guard? haha i feel like i am Paris Hilton...

and she said before that shes going to raise the rent to 2%, we got a letter from her lawyer and from 12k - its now 15k!that not just a 2% raise, she obviously doesnt know how to do the math.

I asked the police why he is in the house earlier today and what the problem was and he said "maam just ignore her, shes just making a drama"
-fine.. if she wants to be the next mara clara superstar then be it.. but she does not have to drag me into it. i wasted half the day dealing with her none sense accusations that led to nowhere..
What a waste of time.

new update: She got someone to watch over me... body guards that looks like squatters coming out of Jail. Sunny Hills is now officially the new luxury squatter area! We thank the land lady for that...
its no longer safe for us.. even the other tenants are having problems with the way she handles us. Impolite and arrogant.

Try to check kung valid ba ang pag raise niya sa rent.. kay naa'y law ana, dili ingon ana ka-sayun mag-raise og rent.

How long na mo didto sunny hills?

@stealthghost thanks - back then she told us nga 2% ra daw iyang i raise sa rent...among problema kay ang first year ra ang naay contract. Thanks sa link - i think this will help a lot para ma solve among problema...

@legal_cd: mao lagi... karon kay naa syay gipa stay kilid sa among place kay para i check daw akong lihok. everytime mo gawas ko.. as in mang li li sad jud sa bintana..as if di nako sila makit-an...
we are no longer safe there...
i tried to talk to her and ask her unsa akong nabuhat for her to treat me like this but she couldnt even give me a valid reason or atleast a reason that would make sense...
were looking for a new place now...

better leave that place..im not sure but try to check what are the grounds for stalking, as what she is doing might be an indirect form of stalking...

Pwede ra man unta maki'g storya og tarong ang landlady, dili kay mag pataka og istorya ang landlady og ning-abot pa sa police, kay wala sila nagkasinabot sa schedule sa tenant..

ok ra man mo-demand, in a right and respectful manner.. dili nga mag-scandal para lang makuha ang gusto og mahimo dayon og teleserye ang ilang kinabuhi..

If naa mo contract TS, review it pud, kung wala and if you really want to stay there, pahimo nalang mo, aron kung unsa ba ron mahitabo naa mo reference..

My lawyer advised me na magpa police blotter today, I have a motorbike guy who takes me to work every morning. Ni ana siya nga the guard asked whats my full name, where I work and whats the nature of my job.. etc...
