i need advice b4 i'll enrol n CCNA training

pls enlighten me regarding CCNA training...do we have to complete d 4 modules b4 we can take the certification exam? is there a training certification also? how is the exam done and how much does it cost? if already certified, can we land on a high paying job?hehe
please i need advice and feedbacks before i'll enrol..thanks :mrgreen:

As far as I know, it's not really necessary to accomplish all 4 modules before taking the certification exams. Regarding the modules, yes, there are certificates given out for the completion of each modue, though, it's not really necessary. It's optional.

High paying job? Could be yes, could be no. But the probability will go higher. CCNA certified personnel are paid higher.

can anyone please give me an idea about the 640-802 CCNA certification exam...
does the certification examination cover all the topics in all the 4 modules or only in the first module? is it 1 exam per module or is it for the whole ccna course coz i've heard that it's not necessary to complete the four modules before i can take the certification exam...please i need your views, suggestions, recommendations or whatever to enlighten me..

hey guys, if any of you are actually interested in these cisco certifications, i advise to read the articles from the source at cisco.com any professional worth its certification should read thorougly those details there (especially regarding exam changes, coverage, and certification paths), before you spend money on any training or exam, find out what ccna is all about, what it gives you, etc.ccna does not guarantee big bucks, but it sure helps.

... and also.. you dont even need to take any module. you can take the exam immediately

Most feedbacks say that UC offers the best training. CIE and Javasphere also offers Cisco. CIE's schedule usually falls every Saturday while Javasphere's a compressed one. Pinaspasay ni sa Javasphere.

I myself is enrolled at CIE from Module 1 until now in Module 4. Training is ok and I guess it still all would boil down to the student. Self-study helped me a lot.

Pwede, but you'll be lagging behind a bit sa practical applications. Not unless if you have your own equipments or probably simulators so yo could practice. Whether we like it or not, mas gamit ang laboratory kaysa theory when it comes to actual work in the future.

a lot of companies are now looking for CCNA certified people. A few of them are cebu based.

But nothing beats experience... CCNA certified or not.
