but notwithstanding the fact that the entire Philippine politics is one resembling show business anway, this particular issue is being taken as show biz even by mainstream media talk shows.

you can posit his lifestyle as an example of a deeper socio-cultural problem that we have, a privilege for his supposed wealth and popularity. but then again we know someone else under a similar polygamous situation who incidentally also came from show biz and was even catapulted to the highest position in the land.
