one of the earlier (and higher) models of the ibanez s series which started in '87..

specs:
-mahogany body
-bolt-on maple wizard neck
-rosewood fingerboard (22 frets with sharktooth inlays)
-original ibanez edge tremolo (arguably the most stable ibanez edge model)
-bensalem, pa, usa neck plate (means this guitar was assembled in the usa from parts in japan)
-neck pickup: dimarzio humbucker from hell
middle pickup: stock ibz usa c2
bridge pickup: dimarzio steve's special

issues:
-no tremolo arm and tremolo back plate
-allen screw on 3rd string saddle replaced with slot screw
-slight paint chip near back strap peg
