Perceptions and Actions

You are special

In every way
In every aspect of my life
Everything is all about you
Everything changed about me

From the first day that I saw you
Something is still amiss
But as the days passed by
A series of events unfold

How could I smile without you
You are the reason
You are the one who can revert
That was once my troubling past
Into what I am right now

My life right now
Is like revolving around a ball
Spinning, dribbling, revolving
It just won't stop until it is being stopped

You made me smile
And I made you smile too
How can I frown from you
For you are the one who can put a smile on my face

How can I stop from thinking of you
That each time I hear your voice
Or even a glimpse of you
I just can't control my emotions

And every night I go to sleep
I'm praying to the Almighty
That you are always safe
And away from any harm

When the next day unfolds
A new challenge arose
In each tick of the clock
Time itself would flock

For that I thank you
That came from my heart
Where it haven't been molded
Into what was once whole

I don't know what the future holds between the two of us
But it is uncertain for us to be at odds
For our communication is unending
And that cannot change

As I end up this poem
It goes without saying that
A person like you is one true gem
That is worth treasuring in my heart.
