splendid moonlight

A few hours ago I was trying to plan our meals for the next week (we don't usually do this but I figured we might as well give it a try) when I bumped into this easy recipe, made a quick trip to the grocery store, back to the house, then to the kitchen, to try the whole thing out.

The finished product, weeeee. When the pan started spitting out hot oil, though, I had to recoil and run to my room to put on a sweater to provide a covering for my arms. I'd wear a helmet if I was alone in the whole house. Admittedly I am not very used to cooking. When I was a kid I'd practice opening canned goods with a knife because I envied how adults would do it, while my other cousin who was the same age as I would do the actual cooking.

Anyway, afterwards I had to put toothpaste over four of my fingers because they started to hurt although I couldn't recall having directly touched the pan.

But it's all good.
