A Whiff of Bicolandia

Was in Legazpi City for two days, delivered a presentation for an e-Commerce seminar held at a university there. The direct Cebu-Legazpi is only available on a particular weekday that was incompatible with the conference schedule, so the event organizers booked me on a Cebu-Mla-Legazpi route. I haven't flown in an airplane in a while so it was a treat for me.
Arrived Wednesday morning (around 8:00am) via a PAL A320 from Cebu...my flight to Legazpi wasn't until 10, so decided to snap some photos and take a nap...
PAL Boeing 747-400...haven't seen a real one up close in a long time now. Forgot how massive it actually is.
Arrival at Legazpi airport...PAL A319. Mayon partly veiled in the background.
I had a bad fever all the time I was at Legazpi, so didn't get to tour the place (I badly wanted to visit the old PNR railyards, and Cagsawa Church Ruins, maybe next time).
Day two,
Conference proper...I was first speaker.
This is the guy who invited me to the conference, Alvin Perez, head of ITC, Aquinas University. Mayon is obscured by clouds in the background.
Departure for Manila...
Mayon again, seen through the windows of the Legazpi terminal
After take-off, took aerial shots of Legazpi. Fortunately, unlike my previous PAL flights into Legazpi, this 5J trip to Manila offered me a window seat. That is where I delivered my presentation, Aquinas University (red-roofed buildings), campus lies practically at the end of Legazpi RWY24.
More images and probably a video later.
UPDATE: Video (flight from Legazpi to Manila) here...
